Wow! We have seen the photo of Riomaggiore for many weeks and to see our hotel in the very view we have looked at. Sunsets at the marina were amazing. Arrived early and they were kind enough to let us check in and start our stay. Would highly recommend this property for the location and view and comfort. Thank you

Our main point of contact was amazing and helpful. He met us at the train station and showed us to our room/apartment. He gave us information about the area, helped with our bags, and showed us our space. The balcony with a view was amazing - I'd stay here again in a minute. The location is fantastic and you really feel like you are living in the Cinque Terre.

When you stay here it is literally like you are in the postcard view, staying in a room that is a part of the picture perfect landscape of Riomaggiore. The hosts are extremely helpful and available for anything you need. They helped with trekking/train passes as well as setting us up with the resident pass for open access to Via Del Amore, which is something unique to staying in Riomaggiore. Easy access to train and ferry, and great spots to enjoy spectacular sunsets. If you have trouble with stairs or balance maybe not the best spot for you, but otherwise 1000% recommend. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful view, excellent hosts! Bed was very firm and there are a lot of stairs for the top room but view is incredible. I don’t recommend going in Spring, we were rained out 1.5 days out of our 3 there.

Dreaming of visiting Cinque Terre for years, we finally made it. I booked our room in advance, and got a great room at Scorci did Mare on the top with the balcony. It was everything I hoped for (plus lots of steps). We went out and walked around, brought a fresh Italian snack back and sat on the patio overlooking this beautiful city. I will be back. There a lots of hills and stairs here, be aware. The bed was hard compared to USA standard but it's normal for Italy in my previous travels.

This property was wonderful! Couple of things to note about Riomaggiore and Cinque Terre- there are lots of steps/stairs everywhere. This was fine for me but I could imagine others having difficulties getting around the area. Back to the property- the host met us at the train station and our room was ready early which was awesome for us after a day of travel. Amazing views of the ocean from the room. The host was available by text all day and he stored our luggage for us after checkout. Would come back!

We loved the place despite the difficulty of getting there. Very rustic and authentic. The antique wood ceiling beams were special. No view and cold at night. Riomaggiere is worth the visit but be prepared to climb. Trattoria La Grotta nearby was excellent ambience and food. Alessandro was terrific! Very attentive proprietor...

Great view seaside view with the calming sound of the waves breaking onto the shore. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in setting us in and providing recommendations for our travel around Cinque Terre. Room is simple but cozy. Everything works but the air conditioner definitely needs some cleaning/servicing.

The gorgeous location was a huge benefit! We had the room with the terrace overlooking the sea, which was perfect. Our host was so helpful with lots of knowledge about the area and the best restaurants - he was right about those. Bathroom and shower, bed and terrace, everything was terrific!

This was such a lovely little guest house with the most beautiful view from the Erica room. Paolo was so incredibly helpful and kind. I had every amenity I needed and the safety and security were also well thought of. Would definitely stay there again.

The view and proximity to everywhere was very good. Michele was very nice and helpful and gave us useful recommendations, every time I needed something he was very quick to respond. Communication was excellent. We got the complimentary bottle of wine of the region, it was very good. Thank you Michele for everything.

We received many excellent recommendations for hiking and dining during check in and the person who checked us in was lovely. Our best meal was at a recommended restaurant and our favorite hike was their recommendation for taking a longer route from Riomaggio to Corniglia. The room was excellent, especially the terrace overlooking the harbor. I only took a star off for amenities because the hot water kettle needed a bit of cleaning and it would have helped to have a hand towel but everything else was fantastic. The daily tidying up and restocking espresso/biscuits was especially appreciated. I would imagine anyone traveling to Cinque Terre is aware of this but be ready for lots of stairs :) Highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for an authentic experience in Cinque Terre.

Paolo greeted us and guided us to our room amd gave us a warm welcome and history of Cinque Terre Riomaggiore. Our room and view was spectacular... the view of the Mediterranean was magnificent. The village is magical and picturesque... the shops and shop owners were very friendly. We will be back! Thank You Paolo for your hospitality. I will definitely recommend Scorci di Mare to family, friends and colleagues.

Amazing location with a beautiful view directly onto the harbor, I would have expected it to be double the price! Room is simple but clean and well maintained and the huge windows are brand new. Paolo is very friendly and recommended an excellent itinerary for our day of hiking. Don’t bring too much luggage as everything in Riomaggiore is lots of steps!

The room was large and with snacks, coffee, and tea. The complimentary wine was amazing, and the host kindly explained about the mountain region and the origin of cinque terre. The hotel is difficult to get to with a big suitcase, but that is typical in cinque terre. It was really helpful for the hotel to be so close to the train station and the marina.
