Cute place with views of the water. Room was clean and kitchen had the basics for serving ourselves. It is directly across from a grocery & gas pump- very convenient!

It was comfortable and cozy but pretty much self service. I imagine if you needed something you could call a number.

Correcte pour une nuit. Même si la maison compte 5 chambres, il a été possible de partager la cuisinette facilement. L'emplacement est vraiment bien. Sur le bord de la mer. Très joli.

The guesthouse was clean and adequate. There is a kitchenette with tables which was good because There is nothing in the area though. 1 restaurant with 2+ hour wait for dinner.

Really small room. No sitting area. No breakfast. Poor value in comparison to other hotels in Iceland

Nice, clean and what you need in that small town for one night stay. No reason to stay longer in that town by the way.. very small!

Wonderful 2-week stay photographing Northern Lights and exploring the middle-north of Iceland. Excellent, comfortable, basic rooms, with a very nice shared kitchen. There's a small store across the street with gas/benzin, a moderate range of foods and supplies, and a selection of fresh fruits/vegetables. Host is responsive and friendly, and multiple times asked if I needed anything. I can highly recommend Sunnuberg Guesthouse. It is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable as a home base for exploring the region.

The property is very basic. While it is very clean, the room we had was very small. The shower was tiny. There was barely enough room for two medium size suitcases. While we appreciate the rules of supply and demand we thought the price charged per night was excessive given the property.

Pretty small, just 5 rooms and 1 kitchen area. The rooms and bathroom were plenty for each unit. One store, one restaurant that close early, so get food to microwave or bring something with you. The city pool is nearby and was great around sunset.

The guest house is clean and comfortable. Checkin was done on the phone so we never met anyone. The Kitchen is very basic with only a toaster and a microwave which was only a problem because there are no cafe's or restaurant's in the town. We ended up having tuna mayonaise sandwiches for dinner. The swimming pool is great but could do with a bar.

The town is beautiful and this is a great location. It’s within walking distance of the community pool. Even with the shade down, the light out front made it very bright in the room. I wore earplugs so wasn’t bothered by any noise from other guests. I didn’t find the bed or bedding very comfortable. The room we had was very small but it helped to store our suitcases under the bed to save space. We opted to shower at the pool instead of at the guesthouse. The kitchen area has a kettle, coffee pot, microwave, and mini fridge. We skipped the sugar as there was only a communal bowl—we would have used sugar if it had been in individual packets, or even cubes.

The room and the en-suite bathroom were very clean and we had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, just like we like them.
