Take time to walk along the waterfront. Be sure to take a sailing cruise with The Whistling Man Schooner...highlight of my time there. Top off your adventure with a relaxing massage at Green Mountain Massage and Bodywork.

This is a beautiful town with much to see, walk, do, and buy. Great food, the Flynn theatre and a comedy club right next door, and over a dozen restaurants. Like any major city, which, for Vermont, Burlington is, you will encounter homeless people.

View of the lake & mountains beautiful. Church street charming w/ shops & restaurants. So many homeless people was sad. Cold drizzly weather was a bummer (for our girl considering UVM). People v friendly. Need more gf and df options.

Burlington has its history, charms and its issues. The waterfront and Church street were lovely but the homeless issues are concerning. I did not feel safe after dark for a stroll.

There are a lot of very nice stores and restaurants, however, there is sadly an unsafe feeling with all of the homeless folks around. 😢
