We were in tow overnight for a hockey game. There is no parking lot, and the hotel charges $45 (not $40 as advertised) for parking on a single level in an adjacent garage, and street parking is sparse at best. When we returned from the game at 10PM, all the spots were taken. Many cars were trying to find spots with no success. We finally went back to the desk where we were told we could park at the Hilton across the street ($39 overnight) and they would waive our parking fee. It was a big pain. Apparently there was also a cheerleading convention in town, so the hotel was filling with raucous girls giggling and talking at the tips of their voices. The girls in the room next door were going on and on about cheerleading drama until after midnight, and the walls are so thin that it seemed like they were in our room! I finally called the front desk (on my cell phone because the room phone didn’t work) and they send security up to shush them. The topper was breakfast this morning — a wide variety of foods but many were already gone when we went down to eat at 9AM, and the countertops were a mess with spilled cereal, empty coffee pumps, and no cutlery, plus most of the food was pre-prepared/pre-packaged and therefore tasteless.
