A real gem.
Thierry was warm and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful. There was plenty of room for all guests. The room was huge and beautifully decorated. Nice bathroom. Breakfast was really good!

Exceptional quaint country retreat
On a flying visit to Bergerac, we were looking for a quiet hotel to stay two nights. Luckily we came across La Carreterie. It was ideal for what we required and our host Thierry went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing. Really enjoyable breakfast. Hotel has been renovated to a high quality quaint French country style hotel. Look forward to returning

Fabulous retreat. Perfect stay
Fantastic find. So happy there we stayed an extra night and wish we had booked for longer. We will definitely return. Wonderful charaterful property beautifully renovated. Everything you could ask for. Set amidst vineyards, tranquil, huge garden to reka in and a suoer swimming pool. Great hosts and very good breakfast. Thank you

Beautiful decorated room with a super comfy big bed. The breakfast every morning is delicious and the owner always open for a chat.
Large garden and a small gate at the end to go to the vineyards.
A small Nespresso machine in the room would make it perfect! ;)
We visited Bergerac, Duras, Eymet and Bordeaux. Beautiful area.

Super hyggeligt sted og vært er utrolig sød og imødekommende, virkelig godt for pengene.
Det eneste jeg kunne kommentere på var poolen der måske lige trængte til en ordentligt omgang.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Thierry, qui est aux petits soins pour ces hôtes.
Il nous a même dépanné sa propre plancha un soir afin que nous puissions faire cuire notre viande. Je recommande vivement d’aller y faire un petit tour car le cadre est juste magnifique et les chambres sont somptueuses.
J’allais aussi oublier le petit déjeuner qui est très copieux et tous les produits sont frais tous les matins.

Un très beau cadre en campagne, tout en étant proche de la ville et ses commerces.
Un accueil très sympathique et notre immense chambre était nickel à tous points de vue.
Quand au petit déjeuner fait maison il est royal.

Perfect place to stay and relax
What a wonderful place to stay! Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, but would loved to have stayed longer. The room and private terrace were spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
The owner is so helpful and friendly and the complimentary breakfast was divine.
I really can't find anything negative to say. Just idyllic.
