Hotel could use updating. There were cleanliness issues. Stains on the head board were more then concerning. I brought it to the front desk and they sent housekeeping to clean it and told me they would let management know and never heard another word after i already had spent 1 night in this room. Quick getaway to see Acadia! Receptionist are all knowledgeable about the area and very pleasant! Walk out your room either onto the lawn to ocean and private beach or your balcony view. Property is slightly dated but still very comfortable and dog friendly too! About an hour to National Park and we would stay again!

Every room has a water view, bed and bedding was excellent, Keurig coffee makers and fridge, excellent big screen TV. The hotel sits high on a hill with a commanding view of the water, the property offers an unencumbered walk on a manicured lawn down to the water, wonderful place to be for humans and dogs.
