Sunday night stay 22nd dec
Stayed one night after a stay the night before at the St George. The hotel is a bit shabby but in the process of being done up. Staff are nice . We booked a superior room 117 but the only superior thing is the sea view . The room was really cold and the duvet is very thin. Due to the big old windows it’s hard to heat it. I’d suggest thick pjs , bed socks and a dressing gown. Family had a much nicer room number 15. Food was ok for the price we paid for half board . Breakfast was nice. We would probably go back again in the future.

Nice pre Christmas stay
Had a good pre Christmas stay . The hotel is a bit cold so you may need a few layers to keep warm , the weather was really bad this weekend so that didn’t help. Our bedroom no 15 was lovely and hot. Food was just ok with only 4 options for evening meal that stayed the same 2 nights on the run. Bar prices aren’t bad. Wonderful staff and parking at £6 a night. Steep stairs at the side or a ramp at the front. Really steep staircase at the back leading from the car park.

The staff were very friendly, but the hotel is looking tired. Our windows were taped shut so we couldn’t open them, which made the room stuffy. But convenient parking just outside the hotel, and great location on the promenade.

Long weekend stay
The room we were given for the first night was grim. We asked to be moved the following day and were given the option of three lovely rooms. They were not available the first night due to a new boiler being installed so the rooms hadn't had heating.
The hotel is good in parts. tired in others, but very clean.
Lovely breakfast with lots of choice including gluten free options.
The best part of the hotel was the staff. Every member of staff we spoke to was pleasant and helpful.
We would definitely stay there again.

Staff all friendly and polite.
Room clean and tidy and breakfast good, but prefer the normal buffet type..but do realise its not possible when not so many guests in the winter .
Tv reception could be better.

Christmas party stay over
Very helpful understanding reception staff, as we had booked a lovely sea view room, but due to Storm Darragh it was too noisy, we asked to be moved and it was no problem.

I would stay again but wouldnt have the breakfast
The hotel looks lovely and is right on the beach front. I'm disabled with limited mobility and I was using crutches so id requested an easily accessible room as close as Possible. I was on the upper floor but there was a lift. I needed to get my things in from the car but wasn’t offered help until i had struggled to get it all to the reception, The reception did then offer to help take it to my room but didn't seem overly pleased about doing it. And then when leaving the next morning one of the young men cleaning offered to help me get it downstairs, then i had to get it to the car. The room was clean and tidy and even though it wasnt a front room there was still a lovely view of the Great Orme. The shower room was clean. I wasn't impressed by the buffet breakfast or the coffee, in-fact i couldnt eat or drink it. The staff weren’t very interactive so there wasn’t much conversation with any of them.
