Great facility, but don’t expect any courtesies
By the looks of the outside, I wasn’t expecting much, but it was absolutely beautiful inside. The bartender, kitchen and maids were amazing. Isaac, the First Gentleman who checked me in was amazing. The day we were to check out, my husband left before me around 8:30. He asked the front desk if they would allow us a late check out. He said they said they were ok with it. When I went down to eat breakfast @10:45, I stopped at the front desk just to be sure I could get a late checkout. The lady at the front said that she couldn’t do that and that she had already allowed too many. I explained that my husband had already asked, but she wouldn’t budge. So I had to rush upstairs, and pack quickly because they wouldn’t allow me any grace. I thought this was bad service. I also hated that they charged 25 dollars to park! Because my husband was meeting me from work we had to pay 50! I asked if they could extend some grace and allow us to only pay for one car, but again, no budging! I have never stayed the night in any hotel that didn’t allow a late checkout, and I have also never been in a hotel that didn’t extend some type of grace. I really wanted to write a good review, but it seems like this particular hotel is a little too rigid. From talking to Isaac, the first person who checked me in, he implied that they watch their employees closely. I understand this, but to the point where they can’t be better with their customers is ridiculous.
