Pool is a great size, comfotable sunbeds and great pool bar food and service. Rooms are well maintained throughout the day with cleaning and turn down service.

Stayed in the hotel for a week and generally loved it. Beautiful hotel, rooms recently renovated to a very high standard, fancy rooftop pool with bar (second larger ourdoor pool not open in off season), fancy indoor pool and spa, staff could not do enough for you, would defo go back. Couple of VERY small knitpicky things could really elevate the hotel if addressed: breakfast selection was very big, but for me the quality of what I would eat for breakfast wasn't great and despite the mammoth choice I didn't really want anything on offer. When returning I would probably book room only and head out to one of the many cafes and bakeries for a pastry. Drink wise at the pool bar soft drinks were not kept refrigerated, so you get a warm drink with rapidly melting ice that was soon flat. The bathrooms had a seperate huge corner bath and shower, however the shower was quite small, think banging your elbows against the wall while washing your hair. Also there was a huge rainfall shower head centred in the shower ceiling, but as the shower was so small you couldn't step out from under it to wash yourself. My preference would have been for a larger shower and smaller bath, as I think most people would. The rooms have new large smart tvs, but only bbc news in English, and the Marriott streaming process doesn't work. You can however log into netflix on the tv. Finally the hotel is very well located right on the bay at St Julian's, but the road outside is extremely busy and noisy.

Beautiful hotel. Very luxurious. What we expect of Marriott was definitely delivered. All the staff members were polite and friendly. We arrived on my husband's 40th birthday (I'd forgotten to let them know) and the Front desk assistant manager picked up on this and made a huge fuss over him. We went out for dinner using the excellent recommendations from the Concierge (we wanted to dine on the waterfront) and had a most excellent meal out. We returned to our room and found a lovely chocolate cake and a bottle of champagne waiting for us with a lovely birthday message. Really made my husband's day. Only downside was that there's no way to confirm on booking whether one is teetotal or not. We sent the champagne back and were given two bottles of fruit juice instead - perhaps some mocktails would have kept the special feel to the celebration. I must say, the juices were delicious nonetheless. The breakfast buffet was also very nice and generous. All the usual suspects including the egg station where you could have an omelette made to order or request eggs benedict for example. Good quality ingredients. My favourite place was the hotel's spa area where the pool, sauna and steam room are. Open for a very generous 7am to 10pm at night, we spent many relaxing hours in there. We would have loved some of their treatments (they have tons on offer) however they are just extremely expensive. We decided to redirect our funds towards tourist activities out and about. Loved it

Thank you for the incredible experience during my recent stay, it exceeded my expectations! This was my first visit to Malta, coming from Barcelona for a swim camp. While I initially booked elsewhere, I wish I’d stayed with you from the start. From check-in (my room was ready at 8:27 AM!) to check-out, your service was flawless. Special thanks to Samira and the morning team for their warm welcome and amazing coffee. The surprise chocolates, handwritten notes, and a bottle of Bordeaux were thoughtful touches. Every morning, the coffee was perfect, and the bar team (Naima, Rowan, and Gayan) provided excellent service. The spa was incredible, Carlos welcomed me warmly, the indoor pool was perfect for relaxing, and my 85-minute massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. The fitness center had everything I needed. My upgraded room, with stunning Balluta Beach views, was spacious and peaceful, allowing me to unwind completely. Housekeeping was exceptional, ensuring my room was spotless, refreshing towels, and providing nightly water service. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the hotel’s elegant yet cozy vibe was unforgettable. This experience inspired me to join Marriott Rewards. Thank you for making my stay so memorable. I can’t wait to return!
