The morning's breakfast is a disaster due to the lack of seating , people had to stand a wait during so made getting your breakfast more difficult due to lack of room to move . The room is far to small to hold for breakfast . The cups in the room still had tea stain in them .

Bed bugs. In room.
We arrived, late on Sunday night and checked into the room. I turned on the heating in the room. And went to bed. The following morning. I itched a little,but went down for the good breakfast and out for the day. When I got up the following morning. The room has warmed up and I was covered with about 12 bits and on closer inspection I found bed bugs. I took a picture and went to reception and they moved me to another room. After that, everything was fine.

The room looked better in the pictures than in real life. I had booked one double bed for two people, but they gave us two separate beds pushed together. That would have been fine, but they also provided two small, separate blankets instead of one large one.

This hotel is one for the books. It is conveniently located in a quiet portion of the city but still accessible to public transport and food stores. Employees were well-versed in English and had no difficulty communicating with them. The rooms are also clean and tidy and the most important thing is there is a water heater for tea and coffee which I really appreciate. Breakfast is also a delight as it promotes Baltic specialities like the herring which I love.

Clean, comfortable but rather basic.
Room was adequate and clean, breakfast was good, no milk provided for coffee in room. Hotel is quite basic, staff very nice. We did not pay very much, so wasn’t expecting the Savoy. The location is good, short walk to the old town. All in all, we got what we paid for so no real complaints.

In need of an upgrade.
Hotel is very tired and in need of refurbishment. Furniture is old and worn out. Beds very uncomfortable. The 20 min walk to and from the Old Town doesn't feel very safe. On the positive side the rooms were clean and a basic breakfast is provided. Room rates are very reasonable and staff are all very welcoming

Cheap get what you pay for
Old, dated not particularly nice. No bar, no restaurant. I did ask the staff if there was a bar or restaurant in the area and was told no, I then did not understand why the hotel closed there own bar/restaurant. Went for breakfast twice and still couldn't get seated so I gave breakfast a miss. Won't be going back.

Good but mattress far too soft
Spacious room, good water pressure in the room, varied breakfast buffet. But i didn't sleep well, the mattress was so soft i needed to put a pillow underneath the small of my back for support. I was woken suddenly at 04:30 by extremely loud squeaky floorboards in the room above. I've never heard floorboards squeak so loud.
