Please Take Your Time To Read
The experience here was not the type I’d recommend but I guess for the price you get what you pay for. The hotel showed different room and had plenty of amenities. It looked to good to be true and it was. The rooms were outdated compared to the photos and the bed had a red stain on the side, but thankfully not on the top. Also the chair on the side was stained and so was the carpet on the floor with hairs and all that.

If you want budget hotel this is a great option
The best part about this hotel is the budget price, so let’s get that aligned. It is comparable to motel 6 price but have indoor pool which is fun for the kids. The rooms are not going to be acceptable for a picky wife but the bathroom was newly renovated. The whole premises seems to be undergoing renovations it seems and they are doing it piece meal. The restaurant is overpriced and the pizza was not gourmet. For 24$ it was like a frozen bake pizza which they ‘only had enough dough for one’ is what we were told trying to feed 6 people. The steak is probably good but about double or triple a Texas roadhouse price. So you have a premium steak restaurant/western style saloon that you’re probably not there to use with your family. They may as well not even serve pizza as an option. You have a pool that is probably fun for 3-15 year old but you will retire to a room you can’t wait to wake up and get back on the road.

8/10 Very good

Older motel reminiscent of old Las Vegas decor. Comfortable beds and linens, great breakfast. Fun to walk around the interior and look at the decor—fountain, pool, etc. It was old but worked for our needs and a good price especially considering the good breakfast offered.

Good value, could be better.
The murals and the little store are nice. Check in was a little slow and the first key did not work. Breakfast was more than an hour late. Liked the koi pond and the games. Nice pool. Clean enough. I was happy for what I paid.

2/10 Poor

Do not be deceived
I had problems from the bigging of the check in. I booked 3 rooms and 2 were fine, the third one was not found. We were traveling as a family of 8, so one additional room was crucial. I was told that they were fully booked and did not have any rooms, despite the fact I paid for 3. We all managed to just make it work (extremely uncomfortable). It was a back and fort with front desk and hotels.com. I was given the key to the third room about 2hrs later. The rooms are not all the same. If you book a standard room, you will end up with a HORRIBLE MOTEL ROOM. At no point in the description does it state that rooms are different based on price. Nor do they disclose the fact that only some rooms are the ones they show as you are booking. I would definitely not recommend this place. The only positive side of this was the front office staff receptionists. She was very apologitic and did try to assist. But this was a HORRIBLE experience.

Avoid
Arrived and saw signs advising me to take my valuables inside and lock my car. Entrance was unclear and it turns out the code they text you for your room also works for all the doors. All rooms face a covered courtyard, which was dense with the muggy, chlorine air coming from the pool. My room had one window facing the parking lot and the noisy highway. My coffee machine was broken. My tub was clogged and after a shower I was standing in right inches of water and had to rinse my feet. My toilet was loosened from the ground and rocking on the floor. Breakfast offered included coffee, cheap pastries and yogurt, oatmeal, and a dirty DIY waffle station. Any eggs or meats were extra. The coffee was so poor and light that it tasted closer to tea. If this were the only hotel in Amarillo, I would rather drive 50 miles to the next town before staying again.

Stay here
Surprisingly super! Large pool, Texas size cornhole games, 24 hour gift/snack shop, laundry facilities, awesome breakfast choices! Elevators… no stairs.
