6/10 Good

Unique, cozy, beautiful views, and forced/friendly interaction with other guests enjoying outdoor spaces set up to enjoy the sunrise/sunset. Ideally located, the lodge is a surprise gem for a place so close to the highway. The sprinklers however detracted from our stay with an alarming and hard to identify noise in the middle of the night, waking us up by hitting part of the window or the AC unit. Sleep is important!

Staff was nice but something crawled & squeezed in the walls throughout the night.
Margaret, 2-night trip

The staff was nice and on top of everything. I really liked this property. The cabins are very cute, and in close proximity to Yosemite, June lake and Bodie. There's a lot to do around this property.

The view of Mono Lake from this property is barn. Simply amazing! And pet friendly!
Enjoying the lawn!

6/10 Good

Reasonable roadside motel. Rooms were dated, but reasonably clean. Property is in need of some repairs, and services were minimal. It’s a bit outside of town, which meant short drives for meals or supplies. It does have a beautiful view of the lake, and staff was courteous.
Thomas, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Earlier check in would have been better for me. Restaurant was not open as advertised. Otherwise my stay was nice!
Karen, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Excellent location to see sunrise - the lake is just across the highway!

The property is beautiful and cabins overlooking the lake was perfect even for a couple hours stay. Very serene over all

Property was run down. Rooms were hot and mobile swamp coolers didn't help, I wasn't able to sleep all night.

The view of MonaLake was very nice!
Laura, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

There was no tv, but it was cozy. The toilet ran all night had to turn the water to it off for it to stop. Very small room.
Brett, 1-night trip

Asthetics? Yes. Great there. Amenities? No. No TV. No Wi-Fi (Offered, but signal is horrible). Wish the tub came with instructions. No shower; surprise. The floor needs dusting and mopping. Small everything: small bed (and I'm short), small table, barely 1.5 seats available. Great views to the lake. Have to drive out for everything.
KEVIN, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Multiple reasons for this review: -no a/c but did provide a room chiller thing, it almost did the job -only one small side window and bathroom window opened so it barely helped with cooling at night -NO hot water in the shower, now I was warm from the room so it almost felt good but it was freezing cold! -I was unsure what to do/who to contact about anything since it wasn’t “typical” hours and even at check in I had to call someone to come and check me into my room. It was just a very strange experience, I would not book here again despite the amazing outdoor areas and views
Lindsey, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Road noise was very loud as our cabin was right along the Hwy.
Monica, 1-night trip

Ok place not the best not the worst just ok
Christopher, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

The check in process is not easy. You have to wait for the person to come over and check you in. The room was small and not clean. No AC. I found a huge web in the window with flies caught in it. Killed a big fly, three spiders. One was on my pillow. Moth was in the bathroom. Bathroom floor was super sticky so I had to ask my kids to wear shoes at all times. The view in beautiful but I wish they had made it bug free. My son was bit by spider and had reaction to it.

Mono Lake view

Quaint with minimum service. Cannot check in until 4:00pm as reception is locked. Next to 395 and Mono lake so the view is exceptional.
Annette, 2-night trip

The cabin was so cozy and comfortable. We would recommend a grab bar in the shower as it felt slippery.
Jan, 1-night trip

Nice views of lake.

Nice views of Mono (sunrise). No TV in room. Bed was in need of replacement, (would have got another star if bed was upgraded).
George, 2-night trip

Not a a friendly staff and very few amenities for the price point.
Rishi, 1-night trip

LeeVining is a tiny bump in the road. The choices for lodging and meals are slim. Clean and well run but no tv??Pricy for what it is but as I said the choices are slim.

It's cozy and clean but this place needs a lot of upgrades and Wi-Fi.

The property was authentic to the area. Such a great old time feel. Our room was nice and had separate sleeping and living areas. The temperature outside was hot so the room was a little hot during the night. I’m sure during normal temperatures it would be just fine. I would stay here again and recommend it to others! Mono Lake is beautiful and Lee Vinning is a nice little town.
Zoe, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

A nice little lodgey place for a reasonable market cost. Decent bed. Beautiful lake view. Tiny kid sized toilet. Nifty but small closet. Good paint. Wood plank floor. Convenient parking. Because it’s roadside you might enjoy earplugs.
