Sadly this place is kind of a dump now. The beds were comfortable but the condition is getting pretty run down. Our room was only serviced one time in four days- despite us being gone almost the entire day. It says they service every other day, but they didn't say which ones. The towels were abysmal and too small. There were a ton of families staying here, likely for spring break. The breakfast is average or below, very limited choices and could be done much better. Hotel vending choices, likewise very limited despite having other items listed and not close enough to anything you can walk to to get more of something. The highlight, if this tells you anything, was the coffee on the breakfast bar. I would avoid this place next time I have a convention. I've stayed at nicer places near enough in much better/newer condition. I would say it was quiet, except that one afternoon, one family slammed opened and slammed the door no less than 22 times in a half hour. The lighting in this hotel is so bad in the common areas and the rooms, that awful blue tinted LED, dim everywhere, that when the sun goes down it feels shady. How big companies get these things so wrong truly is a mystery. A huge shout out of appreciation to the gentleman from Louisiana working the breakfast bar for a couple days- his attitude was superb, I told him so, and he is the only thing that softened this otherwise annoying stay.
