Sufficient hotel
The room for 4 people is not very big, but enough to be comfortable, the bathroom very small, but for what we needed it is sufficient. Breakfast very basic.

This is a bed, a shower, and a bathroom (granted the toilet doesn't seem to flush). The owners are very nice but it lists things that are not true. The main issue here is they say "English". No. Cannot even list "familiar with English". The rooms are dated - very dated - and the decor makes no sense. It's Germany so why is the room covering done in cheap Pacific island scenery? Like I said there are no bells and whistles. But that is what I wanted so there was never a reason to stay in the room. We were out by 6-8 AM and back around 10pm every night. It was a place to sleep. That is all you should expect.

Stay away!!! RUN!! Do not book!
We stayed for 3 nights. Room for family with 5 people is very cramped. No closet space to store luggage. With luggage on the floor there is no walking space. Tripping hazard. The beds felt like cots. You can feel the spring in the mattress. The mattress is so thin.Pillows are flat blanket like. Good luck if you’re looking for a fluffy pillow. No place to dry your towel. Hangers are recycled from department store so try hanging your damp towel on it. Bent the hanger... Bathroom is very small. No hooks in bathroom to hang towel or clothes while you shower!!! How hard is it to add few hooks on a wall?? Heavy duty command hooks?? Found stink bug in the bathroom. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Far from public transportation. Not easy to get to. DON’T book here. You’ll regret it. Friendly staff but that doesn’t make up for all the other inconveniences. Wifi sucks, no manager on property after 6/7PM. Good luck getting towels or anything after hours. Place needs a wrecking ball and start over. When I complained about the check in the owner gaslit me and said we made noise other guest couldn’t sleep in the meantime we only went to the hotel to shower and sleep. We left each day at 5. The stairs creak not my fault. I want to cry.

Hote Galleria is an old hotel with plenty of charm. I got started off on the wrong foot when they wouldn’t let me cancel my reservations about 6 weeks out. So I changed my entire itenerary to not lose $176. Friendly staff. Comfy clean beds. No AC and the shower was a bit frustrating. Nice breakfast in the morning. Helpful recommendations. Close to the zoo and a great Biergarten.

The pillows in the room were uncomfortable. Breakfast very small selection (no toaster, 1 fruit selection, no yogurt). Room is fine for 1 night in my opinion.

Good location, a 5 min walk to the UBahn and a 5min ride to downtown. Good breakfast. VERY small bathrooms and the bedroom was not great for the amount we paid. (uncomfortable beds and very small room).

Looks very historical but in great need of updating. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. Water stains on the walls. If this place was cheap I wouldn’t have thought twice but it was the most expensive place I stayed and the least nice.

2/10 Poor

Nothing good about this hotel.
The hotel does offer parking, however, spaces are limited to 5 or 6 spaces total. The water pressure in the shower was awful, no pressure at all, water went between hot and cold the whole time. It's like when someone else flushed the toilet, you got cold water. Decor is awful, beds are uncomfortable. Location is terrible. You have to drive or bus to see the sights in Munich. About 20-30 minute drive. It's over priced and barely a step above a hostel. Thin walls and creaky floors.

Old-Style European Hotel, Too Tiny for Me
I chose this property for the location, free parking, and because it was well-reviewed on quick inspection. I wish I had delved into it more. I booked and prepaid 4 nights for my family, and wish I could have gotten a refund for the last 3 nights and stayed elsewhere. Our room had 3 uncomfortable beds, but not enough space for my family and luggage. We kept tripping over our bags and each other. The windows opened, which was our saving grace because the room was so hot and stuffy. We had to borrow a fan from my brother. The en suite bathroom was so tiny that my husband and I could not sit straight on the toilet because it was in the corner. Also, there are 30-something rooms, but only about 6 parking spaces. We were only able to park our car there one of the nights. The free breakfast was a nice assortment of breads, cheese, salami, yogurt, and soft-boiled eggs. If you have a guest join you for breakfast (as my brother did a few days), they will either charge €5 or €7.50.

2/10 Poor

Room was small and old, more like a hostel than a hotel. Toilet didn't flush, shower leaked and was moldy, wifi constantly dropped and the cups in the 4'x10' bsthroom where not even wrapped. Even when I asked for clean cups i was told they didn't have any. Also, free parking consisted of 7 slots for a 15 bed hotel so better get there early. Puctures on-line where very misleading as the quality all around was severly lack. I dont know how this was rated as a 3 star hotel, it was terrible. Lastly, andd the only positive thing I can say, it was very close to the subway which made getting aroun Munich eaady.

Quint Hotel in a fun location
I thoughly enjoyed our stay in Munich, Germany. Hotel Galleria was no small part in this. The good: The location was excellent for a family. It's a 5 min drive away from the zoo and a 10 min walk from the river. My kids dug a mud pit to catch fish and it was ridiculas, but they had a blast and it was free. Up the street was an italian restaurant called, De Vivo's. It was reasonable priced and great food. The room had bunkbeds for the kids, which they loved, but my back did not. The bad: The room was small and the TV was the size of a postage stamp. I won't grip about a free breakfest, but it was the same food everyday (rolls, cold meats, yougurt and hard boiled eggs). Scrambled eggs, hot meats and croissants would have blown my mind :) The room was smaller but we spent most of our time outside, so it didnt really matter too much. The weird? It's an art Deco hotel, so just looking around at the art was kinda cool. The bathroom had a sign saying they wouldn't be remodeling so stop asking. They also gave us a keycard to open the door after 11pm, because it wasn't manned. For a younger family this wasn't a problem, but i could see party types not liking this.
