Great holiday destination
Great service. Meals were good, although couldn't do them justice. Just a minor quibble, the BBQ chef needs to learn to cook steak and lamb chops - they were overcooked. Staff are fantastic, special mention to Sue, Masi, Grace, Emori, Roko, Mama Emily, Emily and Liane. Being adults only is another plus. Would certainly go back.

Adjust your expectations
This property does not match the pictures and descriptions on the website, but the price is good, so you have to adjust your expectations. We booked it for one night as it was the closest to the airport, but they wanted to charge us 35NZ per person for airport transfer! We declined and got taxi for 20NZ/pp. They also do not have have wifi vodafone hotspon on site, which means you have to buy internet from them at overpiced cost (twice as much as vodafone sim). Ambiance is nice, especially for young people who are there to party, food was average. There is no beach on that side and the pool is super small, water did not look very clean when we arrived at the end of the day. Strongly recommend to visit Tamarind House and Bar, just 10 min walk from the Club Raro, same prices for food but super nice property with excellent food.

Breakfast is continental. Hot breakfast available for a few. Daily house keeping. Rooms varied depending on room number. For example a group of us stayed and booked poolside rooms. However, one couple got a renovated room with a spacious bathroom and large shower that had amazing pressure and another couple had a tiny shower, small bathroom. They were all the same price. Bar is cool, you can swim up to it in the pool.

We just stayed at Club Raro. We had a beach front room and it was magnificent! Beautiful views right from the front door watching the water and the whales jumping every day. Staff here are absolutely beautiful souls and nothing is ever a problem, they are always happy and helpful. Great fire dancing show on Friday night, and each night is something different within the restaurant and resort. Pool and swim up bar is just beautiful, we sat around the pool in the pool lounges with our bucket of beer and relaxed the day away. you can walk straight down the stairs and you’re in the water. Complementary snorkelling gear and reef shoes ready to go. We had an excellent time here and we have already started planning for our next trip back here next year! Very happy with our choice to stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Club Raro. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bed and pillows very comfortable. Daily servicing of our room was completed with efficiency and we really enjoyed the tropical breakfast and the opportunity to supplement that from the breakfast menu when we needed to. The swim up bar at the pool was really enjoyable and while the pool area itself doesn't offer a lot of shade, we most often used loungers in the shade on the whale watching deck under one of the table/umbrella set ups. And we saw whales almost every single day, what a treat!
