Pleasant surprise
Well located near the Kyoto station. Surrounding is quiet and easy to move around. Experienced front desk service team. Shout out to Mr Konda and Ms Zeng Ping that made a very positive impression to my partner, patiently explaining and sharing detailed information of the restaurant selection, direction guidance, places of interest etc. Their level of English proficiency is above average which is a big comfort to English speaker. Room aspect, open wardrobe is small ( can’t hang too many clothes) limited space in the room. Toilet and shower is of good size. Replenished water daily which is very much appreciated. Safe box, fridge and kettle available. Room slippers provided. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice and cozy with excellent service from the hotel team.

Enjoyable stay
The room is small. No bedside table. Open wardrobe is small so not much space to hang more clothes. The location is very good as it is 7-8 mins walk from Kyoto station. The star of this hotel is the front desk team. Mr Keiichiro Konda and Ms Zeng Ping that we personally encountered was a gem. They were patient with our needs and provided the right information and guidance to places of interest and restaurants suggestions. Far exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the team and taking care of us during our stay. Hope to return in the near future.

This is an old fashioned hotel next to Kyoto station. They had a restaurant and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. We had a problem with a suitcase that was sent. Next time we will insist both suitcases have individual tags. My suitcase was lost for a few days and only after begging did they get involved to help.

Near tokyo station that makes travel easy for city tour. A lot of options around hotek and excellent breakfast buffet - one of the best we have in our iver 20 yrs travel experience. Room size was good n literally 2 mins from the station.location was perfect, very quiet street yet near the transport. Bed was abit hard n one pillow was too hard n the other too soft. The room lacks table top space; we had no place to put our handbags & our shopping. No self laundry, had to pay for laundry service. Stayed there in 2017 before for the good location. However the hotel room tax charged was double of what I had paid in Kanazawa & Osaka They charged ¥400 per night instead of ¥200.
