It is a very beautiful hotel, the staff is very friendly, rooms very spacious and sparkling clean. The train station is at the end of the street like 4 min walking.

Left bags at hotel while we did the one day trek to Machu Pichhu. Had electronics stolen from both bags. Either bags were not kept in secure area or someone on staff did it. Either is unacceptable, especially since leaving bag in care of hotel is common in Ollantaytambo.
On the other hand the grounds were pretty and the rooms clean.

Would try a different choice.
The best part are location, views and the people that work there. The bad were the bathrooms, not a pleasant experience.

Everything was stunning. The service was impeccable, they treated us like family and helped us anytime of day. The hotel itself was beautiful with delicious complimentary breakfast and a great dinner menu. Flowers blooming all around the grounds, blissfully hot showers, and a quick 10-15 min walk from the main square. We couldn’t have been happier, I’d live there if I had the chance. Thank you for everything!

Quaint, Clean and Friendly Staff
It’s a quaint hotel with 4 buildings surrounded by a nice garden with flowers and birds. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond when there was a power outage in our building. They resolved the problem quickly and were so nice to provide us extra waters and a dinner at no charge. The hotel is just a 10 minute walk to the center of town and to the Fortress of Ollantaytambo ruins.

We really liked how close the hotel is to the train station so that when we returned from Macchu Picchu, we just had a short walk to the hotel. They stored our larger suitcases for us while we visited MP for a couple of days. The grounds are beautiful. The beds were fine and the shower was fine also. We appreciated the bottled water they provided in the room. We also thought the food at the restaurant was good and appreciated the convenience of being able to eat on site on our day of arrival. We also appreciated them helping us with our suitcases when we arrived.

The hotel is located in the most beautiful spot; the grounds are stunning with beautiful gardens backing right up to Inka terraces. It's within walking distance (on very narrow sidewalks) to town and just a quick three minutes to the trains to Machu Picchu. The staff were wonderfully helpful and kind. The room was lovely. The restaurant was excellent. There was no down side to staying at the Pakaritampu!
