Excellent location with beautiful views to lake Saimaa yet within walking distance to the city center. Hotel a bit outdated but the views and location make it still a solid option. Recommend rooms with a balcony over to the lake.

Extraordinary location and very nice hotel. However: Standard rooms are very small (we luckily got an upgrade) and sometimes there are lot of people from the adjanced apartments. Aside from the fact it feels a little antiquated despite the exterior, as in the boarding shows through in a few places (looks like mini fridge was ripped out and have to fight to reach sockets) has good facilities, beautiful location and is super convenient for the train station.

Hotellihuoneen kuvat varausta tehtäessä eivät vastanneet millään tasolla todellisuutta. Huone oli aivan alkuperäisessä kunnossaan, vessan katto täynnä keltaisia roiskeita, katto halkeilee, seinissä tahroja, muovimattolattia… Huoneessa ei ollut myöskään pientä jääkaappia. Lisäksi huoneen oven lukko oli niin löysä, että pelkäsin koko ajan, milloin joku vaan tulee ovesta sisälle. Aamupala oli mitään sanomaton. Lisäksi aamupalapöydässä ollut hunajameloni maistui aivan mullalta. Plussaa sijainnista ja hyvistä parkkeerausmahdollisuuksista. Taisi olla valitettavasti ensimmäinen ja viimeinen reissu täällä.
