At the first day on my stay, could not adjust the temperature in my room. It was freezing cold at night ( dropped to 20 degrees Celsius) and woke me up. I have set the temperature at 25 degree Celsius but it didn’t work. Mentioned that to their manager and eventually found out all the rooms are like that and the room temperature couldn’t / hard to be adjusted. Eventually they gave me a portable heater. On the second day, the hotel manager came by and she asked the technician to find the solution for the issue . But after they fixed it, still at night the temperature couldn’t be adjusted at 25 degrees Celsius which I have set up. I still needed to turn on the portable heater to keep myself warm. Their customer service is good. However, the hotel building is outdated. I couldn’t have a good sleep on my first night because of the freezing cold temperature in my room. I got a headache and not feeling well because of that. It has affected my business work and personal itinerary.

This hotel just OK
The maid service was good and the staff was friendly that provided it. We found the breakfast buffet to be of poor quality and very expensive and should’ve been much better for the price and for the hotel in general. The front desk staff while providing good service rarely acknowledged anyone in the lobby with any greetings. They could do better at being more friendly. It would’ve been nice if the bar was open in the lobby more often the pool was clean and we were surprised to see it staffed by lifeguard, which is very good for families with kids. The coffee service in the room was meager at best . Well, the immediate neighborhood where the hotel is located is very rough, you are within easy walking distance of Nathan Road and nicer surroundings. No room service was provided or if it was, it was not offered in any of the literature in the room or by the front lobby staff.
