Good service offered by the staff
The initial advert on Hotels.com stated that the family room consisted of two queen size beds, unfortunately on arrival this was not the case, the room came with a single bed & a double bed - which made the sleeping arrangements for a family of 4 somewhat difficult. The ad by Hotels.com & the Guest lodge needs to be updated. Overall the staff made an unpleasant experience, a lot better - and would recommend the lodge because of the welcoming attitude of the staff & their attention to the comfort of their guests. In the immediate area, service from the local restaurants at Newcastle Corner was greatly lacking and may never visit any those establishments again. Overall we will stay at the lodge again, and may bring along an inflatable mattress our next visit ;-)
