Rita, the Innkeeper and her staffs were excellent. The food was excellent and staffs were polite and always willing to help. We will definitely go back to block island and see Rita again. I highly recommend the 1661 and please don’t skip the breakfast, it’s to die for!!

I was really impressed with the service, Aperitivo, views and cleanliness of the shared bathroom which was elevated. Really no complaints except maybe more outlets for chargers. I will be back!

This property is so incredible. The staff is great and always helpful. We went for 4th of July weekend and had an awesome time with all of our kids!! It is perfect for walking to the downtown and when you are in need of a break from the busy downtown it is a perfect walk and quiet and peaceful. It is like you are in a completely different place.
