"This was my favorite hotel that I stayed in while in Kerala. The service was top notch - the staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and memorable! The property sits right on the water. The rooms are spacious. The food was wonderful. They helped me coordinate a canoe ride through the backwaters. In order to get to the property in this prime location, the car ride is on a small dirt road at the end."

"It’s unique lakefront location allowed us to access houseboats and smaller shikaras from the hotel itself. The staff (reception, restaurant, and housekeeping) were extremely helpful, courteous, and efficient. We stayed in the Premium and Elite rooms that were tastefully appointed with intricately carved wooden furniture alongside modern lighting and appliances. The property has a fabulous pool that was really popular with the guests. Breakfast

"Amritara Beach Symphony is a little paradise. I loved my bungalow and enjoyed being close to the public beach where local families turn out to watch the sunset and fishermen haul in their catch in the morning. The pool is gorgeous, surrounded by lush greenery. The staff was attentive and helpful and arranged an amazing sunrise backwater boat tour. It felt like home-- would definitely stay again! Expedia needs to remove some of the older reviews for this spot as they don't reflect current...

"Enjoyed our stay here. This was our first vacation post COVID. We made up for all that we missed because of COVID. Would recommend a good lake view room. Also take a stroll outside the resort along the river. Don't miss the speed boat ride, you will go through narrow river lanes and low bridges. There is a small jetty for speed boat and shikara within the property itself. Thanks for all the staff for making this memorable,"

"This is barely a 5 star. They are trying hard, but mot quite there yet. No alcohol license. Food is not versatile, and is very spicy. No fire hydrant in the rooms, the main door has an half an inch gap flrom the floor. The 110V outlet does not accommodate the larger prong of US devices, light switches are not very intuitive, smoking on premises by landscape staff, landscape stones/pavers are unsafe and need gap refills. Postives - great traditional breakfast
