The historic district is a small area and the historic buildings have mostly been repurposed. There's a lot of shopping and restaurants that are nice. We enjoyed a visit to the historic Venice Train Depot and, a pricey lunch at Sharky's on the Pier

Venice is still small enough to walk, but has more than enough places to eat and shop close by. The beach is nice and not too crowded. Three airports within 40 minutes. I highly recommend the area.

Cute little beach town. We went to the Saturday market which was fun. We will be back to hunt for sharkteeth when the water is warmer!

Venice is a cute little place to vacation and find shark teeth. My daughter and i went on a cruise and then spent two days in venice and i think we had more fun finding shark teeth in Venice than on the cruise. Lol

Easy to get around. I-75 exits plus easy to get to several beaches in under 20 minutes. Historic Venice downtown is nice walking with shops and places to eat. Love the laid back vibe.

Lots of nice places to eat. Fresh sea food! Felt safe. Clean town for the most part even after Spring breakers were there.

The old downtown area is quite nice. If you want a good meal for a fair price, eat at Abby's on Miami.
