Gorgeous city with many beautiful sights. Holy Rood Church is definitely worth a visit and can use the support! It's stunning and incredibly interesting. Try to get a tour from the talented guide! Lots of great food, super walking. Highly recommend!

Stirling is a gem in the heartland of Scotland, perfectly nestled between low and highlands. Being the gateway to the highlands, it is one of the most historically important places in Scotland. Stunning town steeped in history.

Stirling was my favorite place to walk around and take photos. And Stirling Castle was my favorite of all we toured.

I recommend staying more than one night. There is much to see and do and one day was not enough. We saw Wallace Monumnet and the Castle and the Church of Holyrood but it would have been nice to stay longer and enjoy the town. Very lovely.

The Kirk has musket shot marks from the Scottish defenders against the English, and the castle bears scars from canon fire. Spent 1 night there, think I'd need at least 2 to do it credit. And the bank notes I got are so much nicer than English ones

Fabulous old city with plenty of history. Stirling Castle was amazing to see and learn the history behind
"the hotel as a whole was good amd really nice. The space wa a bit tight for a twin room for 3 adults and a baby that was the only down side.
The parking is very limited.."
"Reception bar staff( 2 males)on arrival were friendly and helpful. The girl on checkout was a bit dismissive. The hotel was funky although some areas were dark and not so welcoming ( the lift lobby) felt like it was forgotten about.
Overall great, clean tidy and a good vibe."
