Ballycastle is a great seaside town. Kids loved the beach and the large playpark next to it. If having a takeaway Mortons chippy is a must 👌 the nicest fish around 🐠😋

We enjoyed walking around the local area, particularly enjoying a delicious meal in the Anzac Bistro and Bar. We had a wonderful evening in Nelly Rua's bar, enjoying the live music which is played every evening. Would recommend both venues.

The Salthouse Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We were very happy with our stay at the Salthouse Hotel. It is beautifully designed and decorated and our room was first rate.
The staff at reception were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. Overall a great experience and we would highly recommend staying here. "
"We loved talking with the owners who gave us great insight into the north of Ireland! It was the best part of our stay! The room, lounge areas, breakfast and parking were all good, though we didn’t realize house is in the middle of a more suburban block. Town is cute and not far away and location of the house worked out on our way back from visiting the Causeway (which we visited late in the evening - highly recommended in summer). Sending our best wishes to the owners!"
"As others have said, the host is very warm, helpful and interesting to listen to his love of culture and sharing life experiences. Excellent accommodation and beautiful views. "
"We loved it. I defy you not to like this place! The quad room is great if you have teens - they have their own room and there is a communal living room upstairs with netflix prime etc if they don't want to watch with you in your room. Just wonderful. Hosts very friendly and helpful as well. Great base for Giant's Causeway and Carrick-a-rede rope bridge. One for the memory book! Thanks again."
"Loved our stay at Black Knowe. Pods were in lovely clean condition, surrounding area lovely with all the animal's. Highly recommend a visit here if in the area."
"Lovely space very well finished and clean as a whistle .
I think we might have been the first in so very new property which offers five suites in the one building
The kitchen facilities include kettle, toaster and coffee machine so no opportunity to heat anything. I think a microwave would be great addition for those of us who love porridge for breakfast 😋
Some building work going on next door but this doesn’t affect internal space experience. "
