When we arrived, we were notified that all power, lights, water etc would be unavailable from midnight to 5 AM that night due to some repairs that needed to be done by the city. No compensation was offered.

The room was nice, but the bathroom size and layout were awkward and tight. The sliding shower doors appeared to be installed backwards, with handles positioned in a way that made it difficult to open and squeeze past the corner of the miniscule sink to get in.

The interior of the hotel is a little tired, but it was perfectly adequate. The location for us, near Family, was perfect. The woman who is the hostess/maître D in the hotel restaurant was absolutely wonderful! She reminded me of a relative in a very good way.

I can say i felt safe in the area surrounding the hotel. An outdoor mall was right across the street. It was a restaurant connected to the hotel. Breakfast was pretty good. Hotel was clean and confortable. Just need some minor repairs. I would stay again.

Friend and I got tix to see the Smithereens at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts and this hotel fit the bill perfectly! Jameson’s Charhouse (excellentl!) is located in the hotel and concert venue is literally less than a minute walk right next door. Free parking. Didn’t have to drive anywhere once we arrived. Check-in was a breeze and you can’t beat the warm cookies they give you. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if I ever get to see a show there again. Old Orchard mall (LLBean, Crate & Barrel, Maggiano’s) is right across the street if shopping and Italian food is your thing.

Not a bad place to stay. It's a mid tier hotel. Hotel room was recently remodeled and was ADA compliant. The furniture is a little nicked but mostly in good shape. The on site restaurant is decent but only for dinner in my opinion .Breakfast is just okay but it's free to guests so can't complain there. My main complaint with this hotel is the lack of lighting in the room (4th floor). For example there is NO light whatsoever at the entrance. That is a first for me. The lack of proper lighting made i difficult to see anything in that section of the room. That can't be good for anyone with a disability. My other complaint is the noise level. A guest in the room next door let their phone alarm go for an hour at the highest possible volume from around 5am to 6am. Naturally our sleep was disrupted. We asked an employee at the front desk to see if maybe it was a hotel alarm clock (unfortunately it was the guests phone.) The employee seemed only mildly concerned but it was the janitor sent to our room to confirm there are no alarm clocks in hotel rooms anymore was kind and apologized. He exhibited more customer service than the front desk employee we dealt with that day. Other than that, everyone at the front desk was friendly and professional.

Hotel was nice enough, check in was easy. Room was hot, even though AC was set to 60 when we arrived. I assume the AC is just not turned on for the year yet, but it was too hot to sleep when temps were in the 70s this weekend. Bed was on the softer side, so didn't sleep well. Attached restaurant breakfast was great, we added that to our reservation and it was well worth it.
