The room was very small with a single bed and toilet/shower room, but it was clean and tidy. Water and biscuits topped up every day was nice. Staff were straightforward and helpful. The big downside for me (other than a single bed) was getting an awful sleep every night, as it's right above a pub. They advertise Fri/Sat nights being busy, but I was there Mon-Thurs and the place was heaving every night until about midnight, and you can hear every bit of noise from the bed! Then the apocalypse at midnight, when people going back to their rooms slamming doors. So if you are looking for a night out and somewhere to crash, or one of those guys that works away but spends all their money in the pub, then this would be right up your street. If like me you are working away, asleep early to get up early for a productive day, probably best looking elsewhere. I would recommend staying out the Luton/Dunstable area anyway if possible, traffic is awful and it's a bit of a hole.
