Everything that glitters ain’t gold
Tub was stopped up , hair every where on the sink in restroom . Horrible time checking in , and other guest knocking on door and running after midnight thinking it’s funny you’re trying to sleep .

The spaciousness of the rooms was appealing, however 1 of our rooms did not have a window. The staff were extremely helpful in letting us choose which rooms we preferred(we needed 3 rooms). The free breakfast which was why we chose the Magnolia(now Hotel Theo) was delicious & the staff very courteous

Overall it was a good hotel. Good service and friendly staff. Within walking distance to most things like Bourbon Street, Superdome, WW2 museum etc. Restaurant was being renovated and the street outside was all tore up, but those are temporary inconveniences etc. I would stay again.

The staff was great and were very accommodating whenever we shared our negative experience with our stay. I've never have had to share any negative experiences like this before and I do hope it will be different for others. The tv didn't work and kept saying it had no signal, the room's phone line was completely dead, the shower had to be left running for a long while before it would even get warm (more that 5mins) and you had to play with the handle to get the right pressure going, we could not find the main entrance or the location of the hotel as the street was closed and seemed to be under construction and the usb charger ports did not work. It served its purpose of having a place to get some rest for the night but I would not say this is a place I would pick for any future trips.

The hotel is in a fantastic location and the staff were very friendly. However, disappointed about the lack of free continental breakfast. Our hotel room was not re-stocked with water, not a big deal, just had to ask the desk staff. The hotel itself feels very rundown, our room had no window. The walls were extremely thin and we could hear everything, every single conversation, ever zipper, every time someone washed their hands. Only benefit was that it’s not in the middle of the french quarter so no drunk people coming in banging around at 3am. The TV also didn’t work due to them changing from hotel magnolia over to a hilton. The shower drain did not work properly, halfway through the shower it turned into a bath. The gym was closed unfortunately- one of the main reasons I had booked this hotel. Likely would not stay here again, and wouldn’t recommend it to a friend.

This hotel was very disappointing, the amenities and location were ok but the room itself was very damp and had a very bad smell which was very overwhelming and got into all of our clothes and luggage. There was a dehumidifier in our room which we had to keep running all of the time which was loud and didn’t really help. The only good thing was the staff who were all really nice and helpful.

It was very difficult to get to the hotel, as there was construction going on in front of it. Then, we were tomd that both the reataurant and the gym were closed, die to renovations. We had a room facing the street and alley, and the outside, street noise was absolutely ridiculous.

Great place to stay for walking to Super dome.
In town for the Eras Tour and only stayed one night but we wished we could’ve stayed longer. The hotel was very nice and clean. The man at the front desk at check in was very professional and friendly. We had a hard time figuring out where to park due to road construction and when I called the hotel to ask the man gave me directions and described the nearest parking garage which was extremely helpful with the one way streets in the area. When we checked in we were both given friendship bracelets that said “New Orleans” in honor of the concert which we thought was such a nice fun touch.
The room was spacious and beautiful. The view of the street below and buildings around us was nice for people watching since everyone was all dressed up for the concert. The bed was very comfortable. We had to leave early in the morning and both said we would have loved to have gotten to stay and sleep in it longer. We were able to walk to lots of restaurants, bars, and the Super Dome. We would definitely stay here again for another event.

The road outside the hotel and the gym was closed. It was incredibly loud and impossible to sleep. There was a large leak from the bathroom ceiling dripping from the light above the bathtub (dangerous) when the person upstairs was showering — reported it, but they didn't seem phased. There was also a lack of outlets.
The bed was comfortable and the location was great, but we wouldn’t recommend based off of our experience.

Underwhelming
Phone didn’t work, thermostat was from the 70’s, no fitted bed sheet, no extra towels available , no extra pillows available, old plug ins and not enough for charging devices, shower and bath run at the same time and tub doesn’t not drain properly. Window view was of a dead plant with a trash can behind it. Light switches that went to no lights. No mini fridge, no extra seating.
Staff however was very kind and was very professional.
