Most comfortable beds, clean room Only issue repeated from my previous stay here was the shower needs drainage maintenance. When your showering the water sits up to ankles & doesnt drain until 3 minutes after the water off so you’re bathing in your dirty water

Nice hotel no central air

Hotel was clean and updated. Staff were friendly. I wish they had central air in the rooms. They still have old school below window AC units. It turns off and the room gets warm so it got a little uncomfortable.

Ok but expected better for a Marriott

The lobby was good, room was okay, nothing special, but expected better from a Marriott hotel. My main issues were they charged $15 a day for parking for no reason other than greed. The Holiday Inn just a half block away has free parking. I understand charging for parking in a busy downtown but Camarillo is a small town, no reason for force charge parking. Also, breakfast ran out of items and took forever to restock plates and coffee. Next time, I would stay at the Holiday Inn Express just down the road, less expensive and a better experience.

The room has a sensor light that we turned off multiple times, but every time my child move on the bed would turn on the light in the bathroom. The bathroom door do not prevent the light getting in the room. It was 2 frustrating nights. Also they had less towels than the amount of people we said would be in the room… they did not have extra pillow, as the bed was unmovable to protect little kids. At Breakfast they try to be a little fancy, but they ran out of food all the time, the only woman working seems overwhelmed, as each batch is not enough for the amount of people waiting for the food… I would not recommend. The front desk people were friendly though.
