Location, location, location

You can’t get a better location than Camp Curry when visiting Yosemite. And the camping experience is fun! Just a few tips… - some of the cabins are heated but on cold nights you still need to dress warm and bring sleeping bags. When we fell asleep our cabin was toasty so we put the sleeping bags back in the car at that was a mistake. - the line for Peets is long, but they have drip coffee at the food court area too. Don’t plan on getting a latte… you’ll be waiting a while. - You can now order ahead for the pizza bar, though we ended up having dinner in Mariposa before heading into the park. - A white noise machine is a must. There are a lot of inconsiderate people who do not follow quiet hours rules. Also, if your cabin is close to a restroom you’ll have more noise issues so definitely bring the white noise machine. - if you have a collapsible wagon, I highly recommend bringing one so you’re not taking multiple trips from your car to your cabin. The parking isn’t super far, but if you’re bringing stuff for yourself and kids, making multiple trips is annoying. - bring folding camping chairs if you want to have snacks at your cabin, we ate right outside because food is not allowed in cabins due to wildlife (bears, rodents)

Amazing place in the heart of Yosemite

Amazing place to stay in the heart of Yosemite. Wonderful facilities. All staff were very friendly. Easy location to take the shuttle around the park. Everything you could need in the little store. Lots of food options (the pizza place was AMAZING!).

Amazing!

The people that checked us in and out were so kind and knowledgeable. I saw some other feedback about the blankets sliding off and we did find that to be true. The problem can be fixed by tucking the top sheet over the blankets into the bedframe. Happy exploring!

I was a bit skeptical at first due to the weather but that little heater put in the work and we slept so good at night. My kids loved every part of this stay. Only down side that i wish i would have know is no food is allowed, you do get lockers to place your food but you cannot cook in the campground

Great location and a step up from camping

This is a great location in the heart of Yosemite valley. It’s not the ritz, but for the price point and convenience it delivers. Make sure to get a heated tent in the winter, and check the dimensions of your bear box for how much food you can bring. There’s no fire pits to cook anywhere close, so plan on eating at curry village (cafeteria, pizza place and pub/burgers) or go into another location on the bus to eat. Overall, very clean, friendly staff and great location.

Camping - bring your own bedding

The facility only gives you one sheet and a sleeping bag type blanket with no zipper. It's so slippery that it falls off every night. : /

Yosemite glamping

It was amazing and they are open late for those traveling, we got there at 1 in the morning and had no issue checking in. Just a heads up follow the signs GPS does not work properly in Yosemite. Heated rooms are comfortable and have plenty room. Bathrooms showers are clean but are shared with community but are kept clean. Glamping!
