We'd come back
We enjoyed our stay here. It was far enough away from the city central, that is was very quiet at night, the area was well lit & felt safe, and the grounds/rooms were clean. The breakfasts were hot and had a good variety. The hotel offered rides to/from Mallory SQ area, and that was included and very convenient. The Hop-on-Hop-off trolley (a separate company & NOT included) has a stop at this hotel, so that was a good option to get a tour and not have to drive in-town.

There is no way this is a Marriott Bonvoy hotel. It is completely run down. The lobby is ok and the pool are is nice. Free breakfast was ok, basic. And there were no problems with the staff. polite and helpful. But every where else you look. it’s just terrible. Broken tiles in the elevator. Paint coming off all over the floors. Bed was lumpy and uneven. Pillows had no support. Bathroom was missing caulking in the shower. The AC was super loud and obnoxious. Between the Ac and terrible bed and pillows, couldn’t sleep at all. Maintenance working on the roof at 8:00am making all sorts of banging noise for at least 2 hours. Paid about $600 per night to stay here. It wasn’t even a hotel but looks like a converted motel with studio apartments. This is just a run-down, worn out Rodeway Inn or Motel 6 is the best way I can describe it. We were ready to leave at 2:00am the last morning as we couldn’t sleep at all. BEWARE! Don’t stay here for the exorbitant prices they charge. I wouldn’t have paid $50 to spend the night here, sorry.

It was an expensive stay for the quality of services provided. Additional fees were imposed that were not reflected in the booking rate. Only one washer was available in a filthy laundry room. Nice staff, but they seem to be working in a sinking ship.

Needs renovation
Pleasant staff and very nice pool area, convenient location but hotel needs a serious renovation. Cracks on the floor, door to our room needed to be cleaned, textured walls were very unattractive. Breakfast was adequate. Shuttle to downtown was a great amenity.

We paid for a suite and we were bummed about the accomodations. It was clean and staff was very friendly. Outlets near the bathroom did not work as well as in the area by couch. The security latch was held on by one screw. Again staff was great!

Family of four
We were very displeased with our stay. We are from the west coast, and $750 for one night in a hotel should be a clean and nice hotel room. It was outdated and dirty - there was chewed gum stuck in the shower, broken shower parts laying on the shower floor, the ceiling had stains and holes in it, the room needed a deep cleaning and the seal around the door wasn’t tight, which allowed light from the parking lot into our room. As soon as we saw our room, we returned to the lobby and expressed our discomfort and were told that they couldn’t do anything for us, and that the hotel was full. Our family had a boat trip scheduled for the following day so we needed to stay in key west but if we hadn’t had that reservation, we would have left. We have never experienced anything like this with a Marriott and we feel very disappointed.

It’s a 7-10 minute drive to everywhere. The hotel feels more like a motel, and is extremely run down. According to the front desk staff they haven’t made any hotel upgrades in the past 10 years.

When we first pulled up to the property, we had some reservations based upon the outside and rear of the property. However, the front desk, pool area, poolside bar, and breakfast area were fantastic! We had booked a room for five adults that was unavailable due to broken equipment but were given two rooms next to each other that worked perfectly for our family. The shuttle to downtown was great! Inside the room, the bed was comfortable enough and the shower was clean and in good working order. We decided that we would consider staying there again in the future. Overall, really nice place!

I gave this hotel 4 stars because of the remodeling on the outside of the building which sounded like they were right inside the room with you. It started at 7 to 8am when we still was sleep in bed and it would be all day until it was there time to go home. I am from Virginia and we drove over 11hrs to get there. This was suppose to be a early birthday gift vacation to me. But that was the only thing that i was upset about but other than that i would have giving this hotel 5 stars.
