find a better hotel in the area
I booked this place through expedia for a 5 day trip for me and my kids. this hotel is dingy, dark, and overall a bad vibe. i would not recommend this place to anyone. the staff is rude, unprofessional, and i needed to leave early due to an emergency. i checked out before 12 on my second day, mitzi at the front desk informed me that the hotel would not refund the last three days of my stay, that i needed to call expedia. so i called expedia. and expedia called the hotel and mitzi said they would refund me. so at this point im driving back o the hotel to get my refund from them and here is mitzi, telling me that no they aren’t going to refund me the whole amount and that they were still going to charge for the following night even though i checked out and physically gave them the hotel room key. well kevin the manager gave me the run around and tried to tell me that he was doing me a courtesy for even giving me the last three days of my trip back (mind you, the day of check in, mitzi said the charge you as the days go). so i ask kevin for a higher up to speak to and he says “there’s no one” and i ask for corporates number. he gets this really annoyed look on his face but he gives me the customer service number you can just look up online. i called wyndham customer service and they created a reference number and all that stuff.
honestly, it was a huge hassle to deal with these people just for them to be ethical. run.
