Excellent service

This stay was to attend a church, the Body of Christ, service in nearby San Juan Capistrano on Sunday morning. The room was clean and spacious. I did enjoy having coffee in the mornings. The lobby staff provided extra coffee on the day I was to leave.

What you would expect for a 2 star hotel

What you would expect from a 2 star hotel. The room was in shabby condition, odd sliding door to the bathroom with no sound privacy. Wood floors that felt a little grimy, I would not go barefoot. The balcony door "lock" was a stick cut to fit the door frame. The price of crappy hotels these days is baffling, but what are you gonna do?

Very loud road noise! On PCH .. Harley’s and emergency services late at night. Parking is fine, rooms are older and bare minimum. Free WiFi, vending machines on site and free in room coffee. Needs a pretty substantial update.

Hi internet friends. I've been staying here quite a bit in recent months, so here's a review. Property: The property is clean, quiet and well maintained. Some of the rooms have an ocean view. Staff: The front office staff has always been welcoming and professional. The housekeeping staff has always been helpful and friendly. Location: This property is in a quiet neighborhood and across the street from a park. The area looks and feels safe, like it's a nice place to raise a family. It's a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach from here and there are restaurants within walking distance. I recommend trying Super Bowl Express for teriyaki bowls, Cafe Rae for their breakfast/ lunch menu and El Jefe Cafe for Mexican food, all nearby. I find Hotel Avenida to be a clean, safe and budget friendly option. I look forward to future visits. Best Regards.

Baseball Tournament stay

Its a price budget hotel, so you get for what you pay for. The front desk lady was very kind. The rooms are basic. It's central to everything. Walkable to restaurants. The beach is about 10mins away driving. Good experience overall

Roadway San Clemente

Beautiful area with tons of shops restaurants and boutiques. However, they wanted an additional 100 dollars deposit for though I bought insurance and paid ahead. We asked for non smoking but our room smelled like cigarettes. The staff was very nice but won’t stay there again unless smoking is banned.
