Great location, less than a mile from the airport and walkable to the downtown part of San Pedro. The property is a little dated, but almost everything was in good repair. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The one big complaint was the mattress in our bedroom was very lumpy and should have been replaced long ago. My partner and I did not sleep well any of the three nights we were in that unit.

I stayed here for 2 weeks and it was fantastic. The staff is really friendly and nice. My room was perfect for me and everything was clean and in working condition. It is a really nice location and I would definitely stay here again.

The view is spectacular. The bed..... not. House cleaning is hit or miss. The grounds keepers were awesome. They helped us with coconuts every time we asked. They keep the property looking spectacular at all times. Security is top notch as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at Isla Bonita Yacht Club. It was a quiet spot in busy San Pedro but still close to restaurants and other activities. Our room was clean and spacious and we enjoyed the peaceful outdoor sitting area with a view of the pool and the ocean. The kitchenette had what we needed to make coffee every morning, and do a little cooking. The best aspect of our stay was the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to go the extra mile: we left a set of keys behind when we checked out, and when they found them, they contacted us immediately and got the keys on a flight to Belize City where we picked them up at the airport as we waited for our flight back to the US. Wow - we really appreciated their extra care and quick response! Isla Bonita Yacht Club is a great choice if you want a peaceful, relaxing stay, but don't have a big resort budget, or don't want to be isolated in a far-flung hotel. It was a great way to experience San Pedro!

Our honeymoon at the Isla Bonita Yacht Club was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an aura of peace and tranquility. The staff were incredibly attentive and the views of the Caribbean Sea right outside our front door were just stunning. We booked a Jet Ski tour with a local provider and they met us at the dock just outside our cabin. The location is the best part. Isla Bonita Yacht Club was just off the beaten path; not too much traffic but not far at all from all the most popular restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay at IBYC for the 5 nights we were there. It was a very cute, basic one bedroom small apartment with a full functional kitchen. It was great that there was a huge drinking water dispenser for our use for coffee or refilling our bottles! The kitchen provided basic utensils and glasses which suited us just fine. The WiFi is strong and even works well as you walk to the street entrance. There are a couple of things I would suggest. There is a small 3-drawer nightstand beside the bed. There is no table on the other side to set a drink or coffee. Also, it would be helpful to have another small chest of drawers so a second person could store their clothes. I had to keep my packed, open suitcase out on the sofa as there was no room to unpack. The shower has very low water pressure so it is a struggle to become clean. I could hear a “pump” come on outside as I’d flush the toilet or turn on the sink. I’m sure that issue would be difficult to solve. The soap/conditioner dispenser in the shower did not work. Luckily I had both and an extra little bar of soap. One really great thing is they have a security guard at night, all night. He actually came to our unit to alert us our door had blown open. We were so grateful he was looking out for us! We asked for new towels each day with no problems and only one cleaning as we try to be tidy ourselves!
