I'm not the type to be negative or complain but I had to say something about this place. The lack of consideration they take regarding hygiene during COVID-19 is despicable - putting others at risk just to be open is unacceptable. On top of this, their front desk was not supportive of my concerns at all.
I wish there was better law enforcement around this. Hospitality industry opening during this time need to take the proper precautions to support their guests stay, not increase their risk.
They do not take the proper precautions when cleaning rooms during this time, or I suspect outside of the pandemic. The room may appear neat and tidy but counters, basins, windows, door handles are all filthy and not wiped down - in the sense they have residue marks, oily finger/hand prints everywhere, these are very visible marks - not a pedantic viewpoint, but made the entire stay very uncomfortable.
Their customer service is dismissive on BOTH occasions I had complained - simply interrupts me and says they will deal with it. They simply sent someone up to 'tidy' the room - no education around what precautions they should be following.
They removed €40 of my bill €450+(2 nights) for the 'inconvenience'. Joke.
Disappointment around the hygiene and their attitude aside - this is not a nice hotel - nothing special, photos misleading, everything is incredibly average for this place, especially the food. Do not have a romantic or social stay here - 100 better places to stay. Avoid.
