The food was surprisingly delicious for resort food. Ordered room service every day. Particularly the chicken soup! Complimentary breakfast was above the standard free breakfast that’s normally offered at resorts like this.Staff was friendly and the beach is better than the photos!

Great Caribbean getaway
Every single employee was friendly. I’ve never been to a place where the entire staff smiled throughout our stay. It is an incredibly well managed property. Everything is always in its place and all day-to-day activities are well coordinated. The resort restaurants were outstanding. The daily breakfast was outstanding (e.g., fresh squeezed OJ, omelette station). The beach is everything you dream about in the Caribbean. The pool area was inviting and calm. Off-site activities were well managed. Very upscale experience delivered in a low-key and friendly style.

We booked fairly last minute but still got a great room with a lovely king bed and a surprisingly comfortable pullout sofa for our 16 year old son. The breakfast was included and great! Eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes or French toast and the coffee was really good! One of the five buildings was already closed (renovation starting) but pool and beach were never crowded. When we needed more towels, someone came quickly. Lovely turn down service each evening. Two servers at the swim up pool bar were amazing and made our trip - Sherrie and (our fave) Paula who knew our son’s favorite drink (chocolate shake) and kept ‘em coming! Only downside was lack of activities for a teen. It was definitely a couples resort but concierge helped to book a jet ski excursion that was a highlight for our son. Beautiful grounds, so quiet, safe/gated entry, shuttle to their other property (Sands) was close to main shopping area. We’ll be back!

My husband and I took our 4-year-old, the property was very pretty. We loved the beach!! The most beautiful water I've ever seen. All of the staff were top notch, everyone was so nice. I would say it would be nice to have more for the kids to do, other than the Kiddie Conch (which my son did love). The restaurants were all really good, food and service were so great. The complimentary breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day! We took a Catamaran tour to snorkel, and it was so fun! I highly recommend doing a boat ride to some other beaches, the water gets even more beautiful! We will definitely be back to Turks and Caicos and looking forward to see what renovations The Psalms is going to be doing over the next few months.

I have stayed at The Palms 3 times now and this time my husband & noticed a shift in the customer service. The Cleaning staff & our server at dinner was always so friendly and kind but the day staff at the beach or pool were kind of rude tbh. We had to always initiate the greeting with them, had to prompt them to offer up towel service. Even though we tipped them every day for putting our towels out on chairs we were always made to feel like we were an inconvenience/burden to them. The Palms is not a cheap hotel so to be met with attitude upon simple job specific requests was pretty disappointing to say the least. We may explore a different hotel the next time we go back to Turks & Caicos.
