Nice quiet room, didn't like smoke smell in lobby though, so thankful that didn't permeate rooms.

Staff friendly, good parking for six cars in the garage..rooms Adequate for one night. Good location.
Breakfast was terrible, like faulty towers, one person trying to do reception, set tables, wash up and probably cook too. No plates, no cutlery, quite chaotic, not worth 12 euros..

Good, convenient location, with adequate parking space. Staff always on hand if needed. Nice that we were provided with a fan as the room got hot in the afternoon. We had some problems logging in to Wifi and not everything was quite as we might have hoped with the bathroom. Shower looked dirty when we arrived and it had no curtain until the very last day of our stay. TV channels were very limited. The bed linen was basic, but clean and tea/coffee were replaced as needed. Room did not look anywhere near as nice as the pictures online!

This is a good, basic and very affordable hotel. It is close to the station and a short walk from the centre of the old town. The decor is a little dated now, but it is fine. I didn't see an air-conditioning unit in the room, but it was not so hot when I visited, and the room temperature was perfect. My only small complaint was not being given a WiFi access code and finding out upstairs in the room that you had to ask for a code downstairs - it would be easy to give this as most hotels do when you check in - but it's minor and easily fixed.

Good location short walking distance to train
Spacious room. Comfortable bed but saggy
Unfortunately the modern appearance in photos misleading -installed in very poorly maintained room.
Wifi virtually unusable over 48 hour period.
Stairs need a good clean

Good value for money but in need of a bit of TLC.
The hotel is good value-for-money for a 1-night stay. The inside car park, although very tight, is good for drivers who want to leave some luggage in the car. It's a great location close to all the main sights. Only problem it's a bit tatty with flaking leatherette chairs and crumbling balcony (complete with cigarette butt). However, we had a good night's sleep and in 5 mins we're on the autoroute to continue our journey.

Second to none in customer service
Absolutely brilliant customer service. The hotel itself is not as modern as some but clean and beds are comfortable. The hotel is just 5 mins from the train station and about 10 mins walk from the old Metz with ample car park facilities. We will use again in the future and book well in advance.

Tired old hotel in need of renovation, nice staff.
This hotel has seen better days. The staff is very friendly but that's about all I can say that was good about this hotel. It is conveniently located next to the train station but it is kind of a long walk from the town center when coming back at night. The rooms are small and outdated. The carpet is old and stained. All the grout in the bathroom is stained almost completely black. The shower looked grungy. The breakfast didn't have a lot of options and the breads were not fresh like we've had in other hotels.

Conveniently located, close to down town
The hotel is great. Only regret: no safe in the room, which is inconvenient, as you have to always carry anything of value with you when leaving the room.

Quiet room
The hotel is situated about a 10-15 minute easy walk to the center of town. Since we had a car, we used the surprisingly narrow parking facilities.
Although this is a dated hotel, the soundproofing was excellent and we did not hear any cars pass by even though our room was facing the road. Breakfast was adequate and the staff friendly.
Two negatives I can mention (1) the strong scent of cigarette smoke through the bathroom pipes wafting into the room even though I was in a non-smoking room; (2) Dark, dingy shower.
