The room was great. Lovely sitting area with a little table and a sink with a refrigerator separated from the main bedroom. Two things that would’ve helped a deadbolt at the door for safety and a microwave. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and we loved the game room.

My night in the Medieval Dungeon Room was nothing short of magical. I received a call a couple of days before arrival, just to make sure everything was in order. The staff took great care of me. The decor, atmosphere, and mood lighting really elevated my stay. I know I'll be back again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

we absolutely loved this place. it's in the middle of being renovated, and even though we stayed in one of the older rooms, it was still updated, clean and super spacious. we were in town off-season, and it's about a mile walk to downtown salem. the walk is pretty easy, maybe two streets depending on where you're headed, and felt safe at night as well. i can see this being a great option for peak-season as it's a bit further out, but still easily walkable, and a great way to avoid having to find and pay for parking downtown. my favorite perk - there's a dunkin literally steps away from the property. the property itself is well lit with a huge, open parking lot and a central gathering space with cozy swinging chairs and music, just a cool place to unwind and read a book. the room was HUGE, and very comfortable. i look forward to returning when the property's renovations are complete.

Hotel was cute and the gentleman checking us in was very accommodating. Gave a 4 out of 5 because there was a dirty towel on our bathroom floor upon entry and the floor was dirty. Not visible dirt but after we showered we had to clean our feet just going from the shower to the bed and put socks on. Close to shops and food but the town, besides bars and some restuarants, pretty much closes at 7 so keep that in mind.

The room was cute and clean. Staff was friendly. There were limited office hours. Staff didn’t have answers to questions we had about the TV. Parts of the property were under construction - which we didn’t know when we booked.

Traveling for a wedding, we were able to check-in, change and get to our venue on time, Currently The Cove constructing newunits but all did not effect our stay. They have a beautiful area for guests outdoors with grills, fire pit, and seating. We would definitely stay there again.

My niece and I stayed here for the Salem experience! The location was perfect, felt safe leaving my vehicle there and thought the staff was attentive to customer needs and quick resolution. The only thing that affected my rating was that the hotel was under construction and the grounds were torn up. We were hoping to get out later and sightsee but didn’t feel it was safe to walk outside when the sun went down. The rest of the Cove pics on the site were accurate and the room was so cozy. The price was just the icing on the cake 😁

The Cove was a great place to stay in Salem! We did not stay in a themed room, but their standard rooms are amazing as well :) very pretty! Staff was very nice and helpful! I would definitely come back :)

The room was beautiful! They are currently doing construction I’m sure it will be gorgeous when it’s done! Was a longer walk to downtown than I thought it would be but I’d definitely stay here again! Side note it was my birthday and the left me a nice card in my room, very touching gesture!

The check in process was horrible and not secure. The pictures online were of a part of the hotel that is under construction. The rooms were so loud we couldn't sleep. We heard every step above us. We were placed next to the stairs, which clanged every time someone walked on them. The AC was purposefully capped, so we could not make the room the temperature we desired to sleep at. There were bugs in the bathtub. The hotel was simply not to the standard of a $300/night hotel. One of the most disappointed we've been in a hotel ever.

Stayed a couple of nights. Room spacious, bed very comfortable, however, nowhere but closet floor to throw decorative pillows off of bed onto - would have been nice to have couple of chairs, on either side of bed. Spacious bathroom - always love a lit mirror. Though tub/shower nice and new, little too slanted and deep for us - little scary getting in and out. Also nice updated little frig, would have been nice to also have little m/w in room instead of having to go to the common area to use if needed. Overall, nice stay
