Excellent quality for the price

We stayed for one night, greeted by Paul, who was friendly and helpful. Provided us with all the info we needed for our stay. Breakfast was good, basic choices of continental and full English. Good quality fresh produce used. Hotel itself is a little outdated however it was clean, towels in bathroom nice and thick, and products as in shampoo etc in shower. Free parking and plenty off it. Everything we needed for one night and more reasonable than the local Premier.

it's a good basic hotel, staff are friendly. The only downside was the hotel is in the countryside and easy to miss if driving at night, and if staff forget to put outside lights on.

Marvellous Service Team

I have trouble walking and the lift was out of order on arrival. Not to worry, the sevice team swapped our first floor room for a ground floor more accessible one as soon as they saw the problem. Thank you so much for for your kindly intervention. We had a good night sleep and the breakfast was outstanding. This set us up for the ferry journey to the Isle of Wight. Superb!

Beautiful property. The host, Paul, was incredibly helpful and polite. He helped us find a meal for the evening and the recommendation was spot on. The room was lovely and well set out and we both had a good nights sleep. The breakfast was vast with a lot of choice and was just the jump start needed for the day. All in all, we had a fantastic nights stay and enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you Paul for everything.

On arrival the receptionist went out his way to help us from checking in to explaining where to go for a shop he was very understanding that my daughter was sick travelling and that I would be leaving at 3am for a ferry brilliant stay would book again

Brilliant service, lovely staff, delicious breakfast, clean & tidy rooms. The rooms were a little noisy at nighttime (a mechanical noise, not people noise). And the lights-off timer in the bathroom could be more generous.. it goes off quite quickly. Overall, we had a lovely stay. Thank you to all the staff!
