Let's not kid ourselves. this is NOT a 4 star property, because it just doesn't have the luxury or standard of the 4 star. My comments/review is based on the assumption this is a 3 star property.
Start from the good. It's located in the new town, 20 dirham to the medina on taxi if you bargain hard, or 2.5 or 4 dirham on the bus if you have the google map help to navigate. It's a big far but still walkable to the Fes train station and the shopping mall (with Carrefour supermarket and highend shopping).
The room facility is basic, wifi is good. hotel staff is pleasant and helpful.
The breakfast is very basic as commented by other fellow travelers.
Things need to improve: The floor is ceramic tile, very uncomfortable to walk on barefoot, especially after you take a shower. I brought a pair of flip-flops (intended for pools and beaches in Morocco but not in a hotel room) and put them to use; Also when I booked the hotel on Expedia it says all taxes and fees included, however I ended up pay extra 4 euro per night for some additional fee, it was not much but if they need to charge this fee it's better to specify clearly on Expedia.
If have the right expectation and want to stay away from the madness and crowd in medina, then this is a good alternative based on its rate.
