Picturesque setting and excellent breakfast
Lovely little chalet-style hotel set in the famous ski resort of Lillehammer. Comfortable and warm but the room could have been a little cleaner (hence the 4 stars). The buffet breakfast was absolutely huge and delicious. A nice stay.

Great stay, a lot of space in the hotel and in our room. The breakfast was excellent and the hospitality among the breakfast staff was in a class of its own. A small minus for a very warm room, hard to sleep for the children.

Cosy hotel, nice quiet location
The hotel was warm and very welcoming, the staff were lovely and always helpful. The meals offered daily were of a great standard and always well presented. The only down side to the hotel was the beds in the rooms, the queen bed was made up of 2 small singles and topped with a memory foam topper. It wasn’t very comfy and the beds moved apart too easily. Overall a great stay and I’d go back again. But would request a better bed if one was available

Amazing hotel
We had a great time at the hafjell hotel, the staff were so friendly and extremely helpful, the only problem we had was that we booked for a queen bed and got 2 singles, not a huge problem we just pushed the beds together, the buffet breakfast was incredible, I would definitely stay here again

Perfect spot for skiing in Hafjell
We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful especially the receptionist. The breakfast which was included was great. It was a great place to stay for our trip to the slopes. We felt very safe here. The hotel was always warm which was so important considering the temperature outside. The general decor in the bedroom areas was tired and the bedroom was very small for three of us.

Not bad, but not great
The location was perfect for accessing the ski area and the pizza place across the road. Big pluses were the heated floor and heated towel rack in the bathroom - great after coming in from the cold and drying head gear. I found the bed too soft - had to take off the top pad and use it to sleep on the floor. Breakfast was decent, but nothing to rave about.
