Je déconseille, c'est sale

C'est une belle bâtisse qui fait office d'auberge de jeunesse avec des prix d'un hôtel 3*** !! Une moquette très sale + des installations électriques douteuses côté sécurité. Les meubles ressemblent à ceux récupérés sur le trottoir et sont poussiéreux. La TV est d'une autre décennie. Le rideau de la fenêtre de salle de bains est une sorte de tapis qui tient avec des agrafes !! Il n'y a pas de lampe de chevet donc obligé de se coucher dans le noir. Les draps étaient tout froissés et sentaient très mauvais, je me demande si ils avaient été changés. Vraiment une expérience décevante pour le prix et surtout une hygiène et propreté très douteuses. Je ne reviendrai pas, c'est sûr

We love Prescott House and stay here anytime we visit Saranac Lake, which is usually a couple times a year. We actually did a historical walking tour this visit that stopped here, so it was really neat to learn about the history of the house and Saranac Lake in general. Definitely recommend.

The building is historic and therefore has a rustic charm. The room, bathroom and bed were clean and comfortable. My room had its own bathroom however some rooms share a communal bathroom which was clean as well. I would definitely stay again.

The location was excellent as it's closeness to downtown was great 👍 👌 😀!! It takes a little getting use to having open bathrooms but it's possible. All things being equal this was quite an Enjoyable stay!

This facility is a lower cost alternative to the much more costly hotels in Saranac Lake. It reminded me of a hostel with shared bathrooms, kitchen, etc. We appreciated the warm feeling of the parlor area with the fireplace & coffee, the candy dish and local information on the table in the main entry hall, the laundry facilities in the basement, and the option to have a place to prepare meals in the kitchen in the basement. A space heater was provided in the room, and it was used because it was cold during our stay. The location is very convenient.

Rustic kitchen so bring your own breakfast, fabulous fireplace in room, comfortable bed, staff minimal but very friendly and helpfull, plenty of parking, walking sticks available, comfortable heated rooms, nice decor. We definitely would go back again.

Beautiful old building, nicely redone. Very basic amenities, but very clean and well-kept. Bring your own TV service (Roku, FireTV, etc.) as there are TVs in every room but no TV service. WiFi is free, though. Location is very close to downtown Saranac Lake and in a very quiet neighborhood. We loved sitting out on the 2nd floor porches.

When I booked the place,have was not mentioned that Bathrooms and showers are shared,but for 1,2 days is ok. On other side was very clean,room perfect size with fridge,AC,water. And in living room downstairs was great coffee and tea and milk and games,books. Lovded my stay for money and what has to offer for short trip. Thank you.

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway, the home is historic, unique, and beautiful. The host was very accommodating and the property manager was happy to help with making the stay an incredible experience. I recommend the Prescott House to anyone looking to make the most out of a trip to the Adirondacks.

We primarily choose this hotel because of the access to the kitchen, the location and price. This property is being renovated and the building is architecturally interesting and has a storied history. This is a unique property. I had interesting conversations with the onsite manager who was very friendly. The kitchen was great as well as the game room. If you prefer a boutique experience over corporate uniformity, this place is for you!

Everything was fine, clean, etc., except that there were a LOT of carpenter ants in the room. I talked with the property manager, while I was there. I hope they do something about that. Otherwise, our stay was nice.
