Cleanliness
Verified review

6/10 Good

Quiet and clean. Bit of a pain having to return the key cards to the main hotel in Bad Ischl.

2/10 Poor

The check-in experience was very frustrating. The hotel charged me again for an amount that I had already paid when I made the reservation. I spent a long time trying to explain and resolve the issue at the property, but it was only after I contacted the hotel’s online customer service that the problem was quickly fixed. This was the first time I have ever experienced being charged twice for a prepaid booking, and it wasted a significant amount of my time. On top of the room rate itself, the hotel also charges a separate cleaning fee of over $100 for just a one-night stay, which I find excessive and unreasonable. Overall, the extra fees and the check-in payment issue made the stay much more frustrating than it should have been. Also, having to drive into the city both to pick up and return the keys is very inconvenient and unreasonable.

8/10 Very good
