Feb 25, 2026Room, staff and breakfast were great, I will stay here again. I stayed here for a night ahead of a flight. I had a couple of packages I needed held for me before I arrived and the duty manager, Sachin was very responsive and helped me out with this which was wonderful.

Jun 4, 2026Vivanta Kochi is a newly built hotel, just outside the city limits of Aluva. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I was visiting my parents who currently live in Aluva.
As this hotel is only six months old, everything is new and shiny. I loved my room as it was very large and luxurious for what I paid ($46 per night). The room has all the amenities like tea, coffee, soap, shampoo etc. It was would have been nice if the mini fridge was functional. I was woken up occasionally by the noise from the highway. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room away from the street. I will stay here again if I can get a room under $80. Uber is easily available at all hours.
I had my breakfast and dinner here every night. The menu is an assortment of Indian, continental and Asian cuisine. The North Indian and South Indian items were very good, but the rest were merely passable. The restaurant needs to expand its menu to include more salads and more Indian dishes. The restaurant is spacious and welcoming. Samishta, Pooja and Alok were particularly helpful in the restaurant.

Feb 27, 2026We recently stayed at the hotel for an additional four days, and while many of the staff members were genuinely kind and helpful, our overall experience was affected by several avoidable issues.
One of the biggest challenges was the lack of coordination among the hotel staff, which led to repeated misunderstandings. We also had a principle-based issue with the laundry team that was never resolved to our satisfaction.
A major inconvenience throughout our stay was that the room telephone system simply did not work. Whether we tried calling reception, the restaurant, or housekeeping, nobody ever answered. Despite several complaints over multiple days, the issue was never fixed, which made communication extremely difficult.
On a positive note, the food at the hotel was very good, and we did appreciate the staff members who tried their best to assist us.
Overall, while the hospitality from many staff members was warm, the operational issues and poor internal communication significantly impacted our stay.

May 6, 2026Had a really wonderful stay at Vivanta Kochi Aluva. The hotel staff was extremely polite, cooperative, and professional throughout our stay. They understood our concerns very well and were always proactive in helping and maintaining cleanliness.
Rooms and overall hotel ambience were excellent, neat, and comfortable. The service quality truly stood out and made our Kerala trip experience much better.
Overall, an excellent experience and highly recommended.

Sep 18, 2026Uusi hotelli, joten palvelu vielä vähän ontui varmasti sen takia. Ravintolassa sai odottaa ikuisuuden, että joku tuli edes kysymään, mitä halutaan… ja pöytäseurueen ruuat tuli eri aikaan.
Huoneen siivous oli muuten ok, mutta mattoa ei ilmeisesti imuroitu ollenkaan ja suihkun lasit oli jo ihan himmeät, vaikka hotelli oli uusi.
Myös käytävällä roskia lattialla monta päivää.
Vaihtelevaa, kuinka henkilökunta hallitsi englannin kielen.
Hotelli aika kaukana keskustasta, mutta sijainti sopi meille. Kiva, pieni uima-allas katolla. Huonepalvelu ok.
