Lovely spot. Great room. A little smaller but perfectly furnished. Great Cafe downstairs! Bar was closed when I visited, but I will be back and hope to see it in full swing. Perfect distance from Newtown bars/food.

A perfectly cosy, clean and friendly nook, in the fabulous neighbourhood of Erko. Well placed with cafes, pubs (including downstairs… didn’t hear a thing). I’d stay again. Only wish that kettle and tea/coffee was in the room, not at the shared kitchenette in the hall.

What a wonderful recent stay my mother and I had at this gorgeous boutique hotel. The staff were outstanding and so helpful, generous and friendly to ensure our stay was remarkable, and we cannot wait to return one day soon. The room was absolutely beautiful and immaculate. We loved the tasteful colour scheme and stylish decor, the pillows and bed were incredibly comfortable, the bathroom exquisite and our experience was peaceful, serene, calm and effortless. We appreciated so much all of the lovely extras, the fantastic staff and their delectable menu at the restaurant. Thank you everyone for making our stay so enjoyable :)

The hotel is in a really nice neighbourhood, with nice cafes around, a park and walk away from multiple train stations. Friendly staff, discount downstairs at the restaurant and bar. Room was a bit small but the price and newness easily makes up for it. Well recommended

This boutique hotel in the inner west has been updated to an outstanding accommodation option in an area with few hotel options. The room we used was very comfortable and, although not large, was more than suitable for our needs. It was a recreational visit to Sydney for me rather than a business trip - a shortcoming might be the absence of a workspace if a customer needed this. The wifi was good though and met our needs. The reception staff were delightful - helpful and pleasant and very welcoming. We will certainly stay at Kurrajong again on our next visit to Sydney

La camera, se pur piccola, è stata confortevole. Ben pulita (servizio pulizia quotidiano), arredi nuovi e di buon gusto. Posizionato in zona tranquilla a 15/20 minuti di autobus (o di auto) dal centro città e a 10 minuti dell'aeroporto. Check in e check out con accesso online molto semplice. Personale molto cordiale e discreto. A disposizione degli ospiti in area comune macchinetta del caffè con cialde, bollitore e diversi tipi di tè. Vicini alcuni risporanti, bar e supermercato.

What a find! Although having just opened so still navigating a few issues (eg. streaming apps on the TV not yet available + floor length mirrors would be a plus) this brand new hotel accommodation is wonderful. The eucalyptus colour palette reflects the calm and quiet of the space, despite being attached to the buzzing pub (which btw does the best margaritas + chargrilled broccolini!). Relax in comfort with a terrific bed, stylish bathroom and quality fixtures.The staff is top rate ~ welcoming and passionate about what they do ~ and always ready to help. Such a friendly neighbourhood with a cool little cafe around the corner (good coffee!). I will def be booking a return stay! Thank you to the team at Kurrajong Hotel!

Gorgeous place in a great neighbourhood only a few easy train stops from downtown Sydney…way better than staying downtown. The hotel has been totally refurbished, beautiful design. Large comfortable bed, great pillows. We had room 207 which is top floor and a slightly bigger suite. Love the colour schemes they’ve used, very tasteful. There’s absolutely no noise from the bar and restaurant below, we didn’t hear anything. Great towels, excellent shower. Free bottles of water in the fridge in your room. A large in room safe which was really appreciated as they’re usually too small for my camera. Hairdryer and quality bathroom products. The staff are fab, very smiley friendly cleaners. A shout out to Laura who looks after guests, she went above and beyond and is a great asset to the place. The restaurant and bar on the ground floor are great too, very tastefully designed and good menus. This place felt like a special treat as we’re travelling several countries for 5 months. Loved Erskineville and it’s walking distance to trendy Newtown and King St…hip areas with cool boutiques and restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel.

Tiny room, ventilation was not great, air conditioning wasn't stable. TV didn't work, no movies were available. Went to sleep and woke up shivering. Asked reception for help so I went out for 45 minutes and when I returned receptionist said she didn't have time to fix the problem. I left at 9.30pm that night.

I often return to Kurrajong Hotel when staying in Sydney as I like it so much. Unfortunately, our most recent stay was impacted by the deafening sounds of renovations happening in the attached bar/restaurant, which woke us suddenly from our sleep before 8am. I will be checking on the progress of this work before rebooking. I'd also suggest a full length mirror in each room. Otherwise, it is a tastefully styled hotel in a handy location and we had a lovely staff member assist us during our stay.
