Good stay

Good place. A few things I noticed. One washer/dryer unit wasn't working before I checked in. I was there for a week so I'm not sure if management had a contract to have someone to come during that time to fix the problem. In the fitness room, the TVs on the treadmills did not work to bring up cable. There was a guy trying to get it working with no success :) I really like the room however I noticed to things: - There was a lot of mold under the lip of the toilet. I'm sure other people can possibly catch the flu from being exposed to using the toilet. Happened to me before in the past - The Bathroom plug was already broken when I got the room. I had to buy a bath tub drain stopper from Target so I can actually soak in a bath for the first time in a year.(Most apartment overseas doesn't have a tub) Overrall I would strongly recommend to international people of business to stay in this hotel. Just a few things I noticed that I needed to report to you. Thank you for your time.

We love the Staybridge and stay there as often as we can. This time however, we had to ask for sheets for the pull out and only got a blanket. We were charged for the wrong room and had to sort it out. Also, our door keeys didnt work and we had to have them rekeyed 3xs in 2 days. But this hotel is very clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was Amazing!!! Love the choices. Only downfall was our room key stopped working and after getting a few new keys they still didn’t work. They had to have maintenance get it opened. The kids had wanted to go swimming after breakfast but they couldn’t.

We have been staying at this location for years when we visit Grand Forks, and always get a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. The hotel is quiet and in a nice location, the common areas are clean, and the amenities are good. The staff are friendly and helpful, however they say little perks like late check out are reserved only for clients who are reward member holders and book directly with the hotel and not through booking sites such as Expedia. Our room was not ready on time and at first they wouldn’t agree to giving us a late check out in return (for the same amount of time they were late in checking us in) but eventually the manager came out and agreed to give us a 1 hour late check out. The rooms are getting old and tired and in need of some renovations and new furniture. The sofa is really decrepit and really should not be in there.

The breakfast was phenomenal. We really liked the fresh fruit and amazing scones. We waited several minutes to check in. No one was at the front desk when we arrived. We got to our room and discovered that the small kitchen garbage was completely full -to the brim! Plus someone left behind a craft/project of some kind in one of the kitchen cupboards. The hot tub was too hot!! We own a hot tub and this tub was so uncomfortable that I couldn't stay in for longer than 5-8 mins at most. I stepped out and my skin was so red! Again - we own a tub so we know this isn't a normal temperature. Otherwise, the hotel bed was super comfortable! We really liked the option to have a soft or firm pillow. Loved the DOVE soap, shampoo, lotion, etc. We will definitely try this hotel again but would encourage them to train the housekeeping staff to check all cupboards and also to adjust the hot tub temperature so that it's not so hot! The hotel and our room was modern, clean and comfortable!

For the amount of money spent on this hotel for one night ($414.14 CDN) I expected it to be a little more upscale. The hallways were very messy with marked walls, the pool area was an absolute disaster and no ventilation, the suite itself, the kitchen floor was all ripped and the refrigerator dented, and the rooms could’ve been a lot cleaner. Not that it was a complete write off, but there could’ve been, much better upkeep on that place for the price you pay.
