The Mt Whitney motel is ideally located so you can walk to everything in town. The room was large and the mattresses were excellent. The manager is very helpful and his restaurant recommendations spot-on.

The location is perfect, close to numerous restaurants and shops, making it convenient for exploring the area. The motel offers ample parking space, which was a big plus for us. The room was equipped with a microwave and fridge, which came in handy during our stay. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. What really stood out was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with a few special requests, making us feel truly welcomed. The only minor issue was a slightly ripped chair in the room, but it was such a non-issue that it didn’t bother us at all. Overall, Mount Whitney Motel provides a great value-for-money experience with its cleanliness, location, and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended!

We stayed for 1 night during our 10 day road trip around national parks in CA, AZ and UT. The property is okie but can be improved. The bathroom door was not getting locked which was a bummer. I expect motel to still have that working. No breakfast but not a dealbreaker as there are tons of nearby food places.

We were very confused about all the “excellent” and “outstanding” reviews for this motel. It was very typical of a budget motel; small room, basic amenities, clean-ish, in okay shape. It was fine for a budget motel, but not somewhere you’d want to hang out all day.
