This is the perfect hotel for a show at the Tabernacle. So close and *safe enough* to make the walk at night. The gentleman who checked us in was an absolute doll (I think his name was Tim!) So friendly and accommodating. He made sure my reservation was linked to my Hilton account, and I got my snacks.
My ONLY complaint was that the rooftop deck was closed, which was a MAJOR reason I chose this hotel. We wanted to be able to dip out there for a smoke instead of standing on the street being accosted by the homeless, which happened almost every time we went out. If a part of the hotel is going to be closed, that's the kind of thing guests should be told ahead of time in order to make adjustments to expectations, if not accommodations.
All things considered, and assuming the rooftop deck is open, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Our suite was SUPER nice.
