Great place, great service, great staff

We stayed for a few days in early June at the Cresta in Flims. It was a wonderful experience. From check-in to check-out we felt welcome and at home. The room was great and spacious, breakfast was delicious and had many choices - but what really stands out is the staff of the hotel. They all were very friendly, helpful and made us really feel welcome. We would for sure come back to Cresta if we are in the region again

Lovely stay in a wonderful hotel.

We stayed in the Cresta Flims for a week. It is a beautiful hotel and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Although it states this hotel is only 3* I would personally rate higher. Our stay included breakfast and use of their beautiful Spa. The spa is open from 1pm until around 9pm. The hotel breakfast/ dining room has views over the stunning mountains and provides a continental style breakfast ( although hot scrambled eggs and boiled eggs are also available). The Cresta is situated about a 15 minute walk to the ski slopes/ lifts. Slightly uphill in places but by no means a difficult walk (I have a back problem and managed it easily). The hotel also has a free shuttle bus if you do not fancy a walk or are carrying skis. There are a few bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk if you do not want to walk to the main area. If you feel like a relax the hotel offers reasonably priced three course meals nightly ( you do need to book in the morning) and a lovely lounge and library where you can sit and take in the view, read a book or play some games (all provided, including in English). There is a hotel bar, which again is very reasonably priced in comparison to surrounding establishments. We loved every minute of our stay at the Cresta and would definitely return if back in Flims.

Beautiful flims and sound hotel Cresta

Snow incredible, stayed in the Annex, very comfortable and warm, like grannies house. Food was ok, lots of food, quality not the finest but it’s 3 star half board. We never went hungry, wine was good and service nice. Spa all in working order, not the most modern but did the job after a long day on the slopes

Very nice ... with a couple nits

Very nice stay, second year at one of our favorite ski towns. The spa and pool is a big plus, shuttle of course too, after a day on the slopes. Though maybe keep spa/pool open an hour past 19h00. On (slight) downside: The breakfast offers got a little tiresome after six days, how about some variety, add sliced salmon, omelette oder? Dinner a bit of issue (for 2nd year). Pricy if not having halb-pension every night (we've chosen to eat nearby or in town).

Great hotel for Skiing!

A warm, welcoming hotel! We have just spent the Christmas week here (on half-board), and it was great! The usual excellent 5-course dinner became an excellent festive 6-course dinner on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The breakfast buffet was also extensive. All the hotel staff were very helpful. Although the hotel is not near the ski lifts, they run a regular shuttle right up to the Lift Station in the morning, and a regular shuttle back from the Lift Station in the afternoon. So, although some guide books advise against staying in Flims Waldhaus because it is a good way (more than half a mile) from the Lift Station, it was very easy getting to and from the slopes - much easier than staying in Flims itself and walking up to the Lift Station (which we have done on a previous holiday). The hotel will also pick you up from the Bus Stop if you are travelling by train/Postbus to get to the resort. Their spa facilities are excellent too, with a fantastic outdoor pool with various massage jets - great for massaging post-skiing aching limbs! All in all, a very enjoyable stay!

Beautiful family run hotel high in the Swiss mountains. Nothing was too much trouble. Had a problem with the safe late one evening and the owner was on to it immediately. My daughter is celiac and they bought in gluten free bread especially for her (and at no additional cost).

Spectacular hotel

Cresta Hotel is magnificent & we'll be returning soon. The staff, the amenities are top notch. The full Spa was the best thing after a full day skiing. All of Switzerland have great transportation service & The Cresta Hotel doesn't disappoint. They have their own shuttle to take you to the lifts & in case you miss it, the town shuttle stops right in front of the hotel. Everything is perfect, except one thing > wifi? They need to improve the signal. In the room, barely had signal, in the restaurant, 40 feet from the front door, no signal at all?

A great hhotel in a mountain village

This is kind of a neighbor hotel in the village of Flims. The hospitality was great and the 5 course dinners were excellent. They have a wellness area with pool, sauna, setting area and other amenities. The area is very quiet at night and the beds with comforters provide an opportunity for a good night’s sleep. If you ski, they hotel has a van to transport you to the ski area a mile or 2 away. This is a place where you can relax, ski or hike in the summer.
