10/10 Excellent

We absolutely loved our stay with Larry at Dundrum House. We enjoyed a very homey stay and wonderful conversation with Larry. Larry was also very attentive to our sons diary allergy and assist with validating which items were dairy free and which were not. We were left only wishing that we had booked more days with Larry. Without a doubt we will stay at Dundrum House on our next Ireland travels.

Larry is a very good and friendly host even though I booked a family suit and I had a double room and our stay was home away from home.

Beautiful Dundrum House

Larry and Ann made us feel at home with the genuine warmth of their welcome. Lovely folk. The house is quite beautiful and the rooms are large and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was freshly cooked and served in the outstanding dining room. You can imagine large dinner parties being held there in years gone by. As we left this morning Ann gifted my wife a large scented candle. All in all an excellent b&b for an overnight or a long weekend.

We had a lovely stay and Larry and Anne couldnt have done anything else for us. They were magnificent hosts. Larry showed us round the buildings and gave us the history of the place. We walked down to the bar Basil Sheills which was only 5 min down the road and food was excellent. Breakfast next morning was super. Will defo be back again. Many thanks Larry and Anne.

Living on a working farm

Really friendly and helpful owners. Lovely breakfast, nice to meet other guests. If bringing dogs, worth knowing there were sheep in the garden, and owners 4 dogs, who were friendly, and not allowed in the house.

10/10 Excellent

We could not have asked for a warmer welcome from Larry and Ann, the rooms were spotless with tea and coffee making facilities. We booked at the local pub for a meal, Larry offered to drive us down and pick us up if we wanted. The breakfast was delicious, at a time we were able to choose! We will definitely be staying again.

Our Home Away From Home

Larry , our host, made us feel very comfortable and very welcome.
Michael, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great place for a relaxing getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of city life - this is a real working farm and we enjoyed seeing horses, cows and lambs! I'd booked a wheelchair-accessible room and we actually received an entire suite with very easy access and gorgeous views. The proprietors even brought us breakfast right to our room and were extremely helpful and hospitable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Larry, the owner, and his family were amazing and so kind to us! We had a wonderful time talking with them, learning about the North, and communing with the sheep! ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful property, friendly and welcoming owner and family. Bedding could be better quality but still had a good night’s sleep. If the family recommend Frankie’s Diner at the Centra in Keady don’t be put off as it looks like a cheap burger joint. The fast food is cooked to order, is tasty, excellent value for money and is far superior to the well known chains.
Phil, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The host family was brilliant. They went out of their way to be kind and generous. We arrived late and hadn’t eaten, but were welcomed to the food in the refrigerator. The rooms are beautiful and well furnished and the shower was amazing. Th host family was very nice and we enjoyed. Learning about the area from them. 10/10 would stay there again.

Beautiful and amazing

It was an amazing and beautiful place to stay. The Sheep were grazing outside our window in the morning. Our host was excellent and he chatted all that we wanted him to, which was a lot! We learned so much from him about Northern Ireland and the troubles. I would be adding photos of the sheep, but the add photos button is not working on my phone

Gorgeous mansion in a bucolic setting

Beautiful country setting with sheep grazing on the grounds. I slept very well because of the peace and quiet here. Larry greeted me upon my arrival and was so hospitable. He made himself available for anything needed. The room upstairs is large and I had two windows that allowed the fresh and cool air in throughout the night. The bathroom has updated fixtures and an etched-glass shower. The decor is lovely with a lovely comforter. They put a lot of thought into the decor, not to mention the love. The deep red carpet on the staircase is an example of it. Breakfast is custom-made and includes eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, tea or coffee. Larry always has a funny comeback. I highly recommend this gorgeous home and bucolic aetting for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
